This is why I watch your channel. You are a man of heart and faith. Great family man and a person everyone would be proud to call a friend. My best friend and I had our differences over the years and at times we did not talk for one reason or another. But today we have been friends for 57 years and are truly brother from different mothers and love each as brothers. It is so important to keep your friends close we never know when we may loose one. I've never hunted, but I found this interesting (especially as somebody who enjoys shooting a recurve bow). I definitely didn't expect the sentimental turn towards the end... Looks like a real family man. Rest in peace.
Special video. Life has a tough way of reminding us that it’s short and we get only one go of it. It’s too short to waste over petty things like those you spoke off. Robert sorry to hear you lost your friend. I wish you had made this video two weeks earlier because I just lost a buddy that I had not talked with since the beginning of the year. No drama, we just don’t live near anymore and he was doing his thing and me mine but he went unexpectedly. The good news is he loved the outdoors and definitely lived life!!!

I've worked at a couple of bow shops, and also do papertuning in my basement, and I've dealt with the carbon risers on Bowtech and Diamond (same riser), and they tend to permanently flex inwards over time, especially in the heat and if you're drawing 70 lbs.

So sorry to hear about your friend. I had a good friend and coworker, who was like a spiritual father to me, went the same way, wasn’t feeling well at home working outside, went in for a nap, had a heart attack, boss called next day with the news, I was devastated. This happened in September last year.
I am so sorry for you and all that loved Bob. It's always hard to lose someone you love and are so close in heart to. I pray god will you through all of your pain. He is hunting in Heaven for free now. No pain or discomfort. Be happy he is is at home and not suffering. God bless you. You are a precious man. I love you.

My grandfather, my best friend passed away due to a heart attack at the age of 62 just one room away from i this summer, it was heart breaking and it's something i can't comprehend, life is very short and death can come knocking at your door at any day and any hour, it sucks. this season is the first season i'm ever going to deer hunt, with my buddy's dad's crossbow. This season my grandpa was gonna take me for the first time. So my first buck will 100% be in dedication to my grandfather.
Rob, I've been getting caught up on all of your videos the past few weeks, and you have really been an inspiration to me. I've been struggling for about 6 years now with a back injury which put me down. I had to quit a job I loved and felt valued at, because I couldn't be as active as I used to be, I gained a lot of weight, I've lost ties with all of my friends, my husband is working 7 days a week at a job he hates now and we only get to see each other about 2 hours a day. I've spiraled into a depression so deep I don't know how to get out of it. But, because of your videos I've finally realized how far down I am and want to get better. It's not going to be easy at all, there are many things I have to change, but this video, this one especially has given me one idea of something I can do. I miss my friend so bad. It used to be that we talked daily and saw each other multiple times a week. I haven't seen or heard from her in about 5 years. After hearing about your dear friend I'm not going to wait any longer, I'm getting done here and calling her. We drifted apart because her life got so busy and I hope we can make time for each other again.
Thank you for being such an inspiration to everyone. Thank you for being REAL and showing us this. I hope this gets to you and I am very thankful for you.

I'm so sorry for you loss Rob it's so true life is so precious & it's easy at times to be angry & dig your heels in because someone upset you. Then it gets harder to talk so you leave it. I hadn't seen my Brother for months & the same happened to him as your friend died alone where he fell. As a Christian I feel bad that I let it happen & I have to live with it but I had told him I loved him when I last seen him 😭😭. But that was brilliant hunt and you have taught me to understand why these deer have to be killed because I used to hate it even though I have followed you for along while now. I'm pleased you got what you came for. I bet Sarah & the girls are missing you as you them. Sending love to everyone from the 🇬🇧 uk xxx

That was a very touching story brother, there are not many people in this world that can touch you in an eternal way. So when that person comes along, hopefully you won't be too busy to notice them, or you may regret it. I have been blessed with a few of those guys. My good friend Mike passed away December 31st 2017. He was more of a dad than a friend and I miss him dearly. Me and his son have been best friends for 11+ years. When one of us was having a bad we would pack up and go fishing or hunting and have such a good time that you would forget about your bad day. R.I.P Mike (Pops) Graham. Ill see you again one day

What animals can you hunt in Luzon?? Are there game lodges in Luzon?? I want to hunt cave bats in Boracay.
John Doe if you can secure a permit from the department of environment and natural resources you can hunt spotted deer and wild boar...but the humidity abundance of venomous snakes and rebels might get you first before you can be able to see a possible target
Zams Eli There are NPA still in Luzon. I thought covert joint US Marine / Philippine Army operations cleared out the Godless Commie New People's Army (NPA) a long time ago. I would hire security guards to establish a perimeter around the hunting zone. I would archery hunt the boar and spotted deer, but keep a Mossberg pump action scatter gun with a magazine of 12 gauge buckshot shells in case slung across my shoulder in case the rebels showed up. I would have a propane powered air conditioned recreation vehicle trailer with a shelf-less extra large refrigeration unit to store the drained gutted carcasses of the spotted deer and boar. I would keep the tusks of the boar to make into a momento keepsake necklace of my hunt in the far off exotic Philippines. 😍😍😍😍😍
