    Can you please post a video showing how to remove, clean and replace the filters? Do they need to be washed with water or just vacuumed?

    Hi I Purchased an drimaster eco heat from you 3 - 4 months ago could you explain how to get the heater working, the air coming through is very cold and we have to turn the house heating up to combat it, which is expensive.
    Thanks.

      Heater is controlled automatically depending on what setting it is set to. However you can purchase wireless controller for most Drimaster units www.i-sells.co.uk/product_info.php?products_id=45551 give us a call if you have further questions 02084639696

    My Nuaire Drimaster vent has begun to create black sooty deposits on the ceiling around the vent. I have had my Drimaster unit for arvit l about 18 months, so I assume the filters need cleaning, but I've removed them and can't see much dust inside them. Should I wash them with water and then leave them to dry before refitting them, or should I just vacuum them. If vacuuming, do I vacuum the inside or the outside? Thanks.

      @isells  Před 4 lety

      Thank you for your question. Sorry, you are experiencing problems with your Drimaster unit. Could I ask if your loft space is ventilated? As for this unit to work the loft space needs to be well ventilated by either tile vents, soffit vents, or air bricks so that the fresh air from the outside can be filtered into the property. If the loft space is not ventilated then the unit will only filter in the air that is in the loft space and will not work to its ability. In regards to the filters, these can be washed in warm soapy water or hoovered inside and out. If you have any further questions please do not hesitate to contact us.

    After a power cut my unit (DRI-ECO-HEAT-HC) displays error code E150 and blow cold air at full speed. It lost it's pairing with the 4 switch unit.
    I've tried pressing and holding down: up, down, and up and down, but nothing is changing. I've tried restarting the unit, but again, no change. I can't find this error code anywhere.
    What does the error code mean? How do I reset the unit?

      If it is within warranty they will replace it or fix it. You have to take it down. Alternatively, if it is out of warranty, you can take it apart and it's most likely a lose connection. It still involves taking it down.

    How do I turn off the heater? I held down button for 5 secs and released and wont turn off..il be hit with a massive elec bill from this unit..

    • @isells
      @isells  Před rokem

      The heater is controlled by a temperature sensor that is fitted to the outlet of the heater and will control the heater output to maintain the set point. If you could refer to Installation and Maintenance 10.4 and 10.5 for setting adjustments. In addition, you can add up to 3 wireless sensors to DRI-ECO-HEAT-HC. An example would be 4 Way Heater and Boost Control Switch that would allow you to control it manually: www.i-sells.co.uk/nuaire-drimaster-eco-4-way-heater-and-boost-control-switch If you have any questions please call our Technical advise on 02084639696

    We will be removing the drimaster as soon as we can. It creates cold air during the coldest months and we still have condensation issues throughout the house. Absolute nightmare. This is Britain, where winters are known to be cold. May as well open all the windows and turn up the heat. What a waste of heating and our hard earned cash.

      Hi Trace, we had great feedback about these units from loads of customers. We would suggest contacting Nuaire Technical to see if the unit is faulty or to see if a speed increase would be required.

      Totally agree. I think it is a sales gimmick. I only have it a few days and wish I didn't waste 550 on it. Had to turn it down to setting one or else the temperature in my house was dropping quickly. So not only do I need heating on longer but I also will get hit with higher electricity costs on the integrated electrical heater. It would cost way less putting windows on vent!

    • @TeamTurd4x4
      @TeamTurd4x4 Před rokem

      I gave it a couple of days and adjusted fan speed until I was happy with the condensation going. I then set the boiler down a couple degrees as my hive is under the PIV Diffuser, the house heats up the same yes there is a chill when the rating is off but nothing like I have read people suffering with I think it's a case of playing with the settings until you find the weet spot with the PIV and heating adjustments. It's solved the condensation problem in our property.

    anyone understand what exactly 'intelligent heat recovery mode' is?

    • @isells
      @isells  Před rokem +1

      Thank you for your question. An intelligent heat recovery mode is a feature commonly found in Heat Recovery Units (HRUs) used in HVAC systems. This feature uses additional sensors, such as humidity sensors, to optimize the system's performance.
      For instance, in wet rooms like bathrooms, kitchens, and utility rooms, the humidity sensor can detect when the humidity levels exceed the pre-set levels and switch the unit to boost mode. This mode helps manage the increase in humidity by extracting more air from the wet rooms and expelling it outside until the humidity level decreases to the set point.
      By using these sensors, the system can operate more efficiently and maintain a comfortable indoor environment while reducing energy consumption and costs. This feature is often referred to as "intelligent" because it can adjust its operation based on real-time data, making the system more responsive to changing environmental conditions.

      @@isells thanks for the fuller explanation

    • @MrJohnnyDMonic
      @MrJohnnyDMonic Před rokem

      This reply kind of implies that this particular mode would only work if additional sensors were connected? It's really frustrating that the manual says absolutely nothing about what this mode is or how it works. My loft temperature is regularly around 30 degrees at the moment so my unit spends most of the summer in standby mode, even though the humidity in the house is in the 70s.
