ASMR - Tim Tams v Penguins Biscuits -Australian Accent -Discussing These Biscuits in a Quiet Whisper

- An Australian man's voice (#AussieASMRMan) is quietly whispering as he compares Tim Tams with Penguins. Tim Tams are Australia's favourite chocolate biscuit, while Penguins are England's favourite chocolate biscuit (or are they called cookies?). Autonomous sensory meridian response (#ASMR). A brief history of #TimTams and #Penguins are discussed. All discussion is in a quiet whisper.
I'm doing some shorter videos while I'm staying home and have more time. I'm also trying out some different ideas, so please let me know what you think in the comments section. Hopefully I'll do a new video each week (no promises).
This video uses the Blue Yeti microphone for the audio. The video portion is recorded on a Olympus Stylus camera.
I really enjoy these videos where you talk about seemingly random things and go into detail about it and give some fun facts too. Idk why I enjoy it so much, but it’s wholesome.

As a British person, I can answer your question in the description and we call them biscuits, not cookies, the only thing we'd really call a cookie is a chocolate chip cookie

such a great video! the crunching/eating noises were an awesome addition. as a brit, I will say that I much prefer Tim Tams - Penguins are too dense to do the old Tim Tam Slam with! But they're both pretty good.

Honestly even coming from the UK and growing up eating penguins, my dad once brought back timtams from a business trip to Australia and I thought they were incredible. Don’t get me wrong, penguins are also really nice but timtams just seemed even better somehow
I live a couple streets away from the mcvities factory and I can get free biscuits from the ones that are mishapen

Penguin biscuits were a staple growing up in the UK but I have to admit that TimTams are slightly better!

OMG finally a video without You chewing gum, my prayers were heard and answered 😁 ! I discovered Tim Tams when I was in Australia, almost 10 years ago, and I became 'addicted' to the double coat ones. But unfortunately, You don't find them in France and when You try to buy/import them from another country, the price is insane. A pack of 2 packets is 15€+10€ for shipping so 25€ (which is 43 AUD !!). Just for TWO packets ! So I didn't have them in a long time :/ !

The penguin is sold here in Britain, it's a biscuit and I had it every day at School for a number of years! They're not the best, but it did the trick!

On the podcast "Oh God, What Now?" they had this very argument. A strong case was made for Tim Tams as the better biscuit, though I think Penguins are better for dunking because they are a bit hardier.

Hi there! Nice to see the extra video this week! Hope everything is fine! Back when you did some videos on Australian things, I gave you a comment suggesting you to do some kind of a market basket analysis of things you typically buy in a grocery store and showing the prices (and maybe even convert them to USD or EUR or other currencies). I'm really interested in seeing how the costs of living (or rather of those things of daily need) are different in Australia. I always here that Australia is fairly expensive. Maybe you now have some time to do this kind of video.

We have Tim tams here in South Africa, but they one of the most expensive biscuits we can get. They about R40 where we can get other biscuits for R10 per pack and they usually have more as well. Sadly because they are delicious!
R40 converts to around $AUD3.30, which is roughly what we pay for Tim Tams in Australia.

I'm from New Zealand and we have Tim Tams but not Penguin biscuits. (Or maybe we do and I've just never seen them!) That said...I think I'd prefer Tim Tams just because they're not individually wrapped. C'mon Penguin, get with the times. ;)
I’m pretty sure the reason they’re individually wrapped is because they’re intended as lunch box snacks for school kids
