    watched it and a thought - would be good if some young lads can voluntarily teach old people English so they can speak properly and deal with the situation, rather those new generations doing blogs , moogbang video(not sure what they call it)

      Feel ever so sad..... It's so hard to learn a new language especially at a older age... My age is 24 and for me to learn nepali, its hard and i will get there... Ma aliali nepali bolchu ani bistarai hudai cha.. Ma nepali annu.. Next year

    • @jkopv

      @@lemonboi99 Hmm, if you haven't tried it yet how can you be confident they will never learn English, At least if these old people could reply their names, addresses, social security numbers, name of their keen that's it (Did you see an old man having accident Who even could not reply his name...). It's natural that intelligence fades away as you grow old, but at your age -24, if you say it;s hard to learn, I think you need to practice more and try to use in your daily life, One suggestion is - you go to these old people and try to learn Nepali with them first and teach them English as well.

    • @bardanmalla193
      @bardanmalla193 Před 3 lety +4

      @Bluepurgatory1 where do i start
      If pension was enough he would never go to do the job in first place
      you can't say no white people have ever discriminated Gurkhas . If you want i can give penalty examples .
      He is also not completely negative about UK also he respects everyone there and he asks same from everyone and just being realistic about his experience
      and with pension of British army king my ass ,they didn't even get full pension in past not even half but yeah its increasing to normal amount but that money will be all spent on basic needs. Nepal isn't so cheap as you think it is to live in old age .
      Medical bills, Food , Children's education fees , and other expenses barely 100 ponds will remain or less. If they get sick bad and need some serious disease or smth. Some serious medication can change up to 5000 pounds or more
      one of the main reason they went to UK to live in such small space room is because of better facilities which matters in old age
      They fought as loyal if not more loyal then other British Soldier for the queen
      and served for more then half of their life time since age of 17-21
      they deserve equality and respect and they give respect to other people too not just wanted to be treated like kings
      They did and will do everything for their friends but at least hope these things to get back for the things they did

      I agree,this company should be ashamed of how it treats it's Asian workers. It's simply racism. Whether it's institutionalised or personal racism it hurts me to see people treated this way. They should have the courtesy of speaking personally with the worker and not just first promise to call and then only text "this is not the right way", but have the good manners to explain what exactly is the "right" way. And if he must fill in a wage query form, and they value him as an employee they should have given that from to him in the first place and assisted him to fill it in if he needed help. It's all about lack of good employer-employee relations, very little respect and of course the colour of his skin. I know Gurkhali manchhe are resilient and strong, so I wish this man and his family very best wishes and God's blessings.

      With regards to pension, what they get doesn't guarantee a comfortable life back upon retirement in Nepal because while the cost of living in Nepal has increased a lot, the pension has not. Additionally, some are still stuck on only £20 pension per month while others are on less than Rs10,000 a month. As a number of them do not come from a well to do background, they are still having to work and struggle because the meagre pension isn't enough to support the family. There is a whole pension battle going on with the UK government at the moment due to it being based on an ancient agreement. But, its a complex subject and the main issue here is that a lot are getting very very low pension.

      @Amaze Crystal. In an imperfect world. People seek union for help as a last resort because most employers hated you if you seek 3rd party for help and you could lost your job instantly.
      Best solution, is to work out with the employer directly (if they just owe you one or two months salary). Some employer also faced problem if their clients don't pay them. As such they could not pay their staff salary. Get the full picture, document them along the way when you speak to your employer about your financial problem.
      If things still did not improve, then go straight to the union with your complete stories and reasons, while continue to look for other jobs opportunity elsewhere. It is safer this way.

    Take your time and do read this as it is a significant topic to be discussed .It's the time for us to think wisely and act smartly by totally refraining the recruitment of the youths from our nation. Our so called ancestors Chandra, JBR and including others joint hands with east India company. Neither we could get rid of the poverty nor we could get education. It is one of the reasons why we had to stay dark and poor for more than 70 years . This injustice is prevailing for 204 years and we are still fighting for our human rights. We are pressurising the government of UK with the team of NHRC and civil society in order to get justice to our people who are still suffering. The fight is long but we need to act and believe as if it's impossible to be defeated. So whoever is reading this pls do not promote this idea and circulate among Nepalese especially youth who is the backbone of the nation. Jay Nepal

      @@KiranNembangtv I am aware of the fact that it was not a choice then during the war between the Nepal and British in 1815 AD. Amar Singh thapa and David ocstorlony signed a treaty in Malone named Malone convention in order to end the war. It is absolutely long for me to write here each and every detail of how we were trapped. So it would be better if you yourself study the book written by yubraj sangraula - Gurkha brigade where he has answered all your questions. Nevertheless I still do not support the doctrine of British Gurkha recruitment.

    The irony is we complain about discrimination and do the same in our society in the name of caste. So either consider all humans as one or don’t complain about discriminated because of color. Btw, I hope this uncle gets what is rightfully his and I’m just sharing my thought.

    Though In Outside Gurkha brave warrior but the treatment done by the so called conquer of the world once BRITISH treats unfair to these smartest and brave ..hard worker..people.....god bless them .....
    And these all are due to alachhiney chote raja of Nepal...they had disarrange the system and the law...of the great nation Of world NEPAL....
    SO WE R force to go in WORLD developed cntry ...but the system and law are far better than our nation but the treatment to us is totally opposite .....😔😔😔😔😔😔😔😔😔😔😔😔

    if he has that great dignity then why not managing every family problems and dreams return to his homeland.
    we know Gurkha has been serving well..
    but being in the job which symbolizes bravery and again the job during the job time or after the retirement that doesnt respect or gives the equality,its useless for being the brave.
    And some said that Gurkha would rather die than being coward. Coward means being coward to be suppressed on race.
    Give your service to your country not the race or money or anything that is not for country.
    Lets change our country.
    Gurkha has been doing many thing in the village i born. But being such slave that salutes with differences and biasness is foolishness and under ur brave concern.
