I have always been in your corner. No matter who thought they knew everything...I would say to them that no one can even imagine handling that many kids at once (and staff and producers, etc.) and keeping a huge smile all day every day! She even put off having her own kids to take care of others!!! Anyway you seem like a great lady. I hate what you went through but I know it made you stronger. Keep that smile because it's beautiful. I only wish I was closer and could get my little girl into your studio! ☺️

I wish you were asking this in the year 1985 because my gram would have definitely taken me. I live in Pittsburgh but unfortunately I'm now 47 years old....lol. Thank you for all you have done for dance Miss Abby Lee Miller!!!
I think the thing that people don’t get is that you really can’t give the same level of choreography to each student and expect a 7-way tie. Some kids aren’t as advanced as others and you don’t send a kid onstage to tumble with bent legs or fall out of turns. You work with what they do best. And, no, it may never score first place. As long as a kid is working up to their potential and has a good attitude, they are really competing against themselves. Not every kid is a Maddie. And that’s fine.
thats true but the reason maddie improved so much trough the seasons only because she got all the love and appreciation
@@lanifmx Be sincere from their very first solo and group dance , didn't you notice how special Maddie was? Plus every kid had the opportunity to improve with the group dance ever week.
Agreed, but in the show anyway, they made it seem like Abby thought it wasn't fine that not every kid was a Maddie, and I think that's what people take issue with.
@@lanifmx true. I thought she was nice on the show, but what irritates me now is that after everything Abby did for her she told Cosmopolitan that she’s at peace with not talking to her.
@@ave.427 we are only as informed about a person's life based on what we have heard or seen.
We cannot judge that statement until we walk in her shoes. A lot might have gone down that we are not privy to. It might not have been so picture and privileged perfect as it was presented.
Abby… please don’t feel like you have to give the audiences more seasons of Dance Moms. You have been through A LOT. If, in your heart, you feel this is the right thing to do FOR YOU then of course we will watch! But you need to take care of yourself first and foremost, and you have not been treated well.
I don’t think she’s doing it for us her fans! I think she genuinely misses it and loves giving kids opportunities that they wouldn’t be able to get without her! I personally would LOVE a new season especially if it was a competition show💖
@Mailee Thomas @Princ3ssA1 believe me, I would be so excited to watch another season! But we can all agree based on the content that Abby (and other cast members) have put out since Dance Moms wrapped that the network did not treat Abby well and that the show did cause a lot of heart ache. I just hope the positives outweigh the negatives for all involved, and that no one feels pressured to do this.
The last 2 seasons were horrible lol it's just not the same. It's super fake

I always love the stories about your mother, it reminds me to love and appreciate all my mom has done for me, even now as adult, while she’s still here.

Thank you again Miss Abby! I wasn’t a dancer. I competed in the equestrian discipline of Dressage. My favorite trainers were the ones who pushed me, held me accountable and yes, were quite blunt with me if I was inattentive, snotty or continuing to make the same mistakes over and over! The way you get frustrated about a kids feet- my trainer would get frustrated with me about my left wrist! That specific! She called it the claw! I have always respected the pivotal people in my life who had the strength and resilience to help me be the very best I could! You are an amazing person and I really love watching your videos! 🌻🦋
Also can we appreciate abby’s use of jewelry like whenever I watched dance moms I would just stare at her matching AMAZING jewelry and I loved it
I would love a season 9 with all of the original minis. That would be epic. I'm sure the girls and their moms would want to do it.

So many people hate on Abbey Lee but I’ve always loved her. I’ve always know that the production of the show shaped the view we had of her. I’ve always thought she was genuine about her love for the kids and their talent and winning. She wanted her name to be associated with greatness and I think it is. It also breaks my heart that she never got the family she wanted. 😔

Miss Abby reminds me of an art teacher I had, I was the only one under 20 in her studio, she was tough on me but I could tell she loved me and with out her I wouldn’t be able to have the skills I have today and ur channel makes me think of miss Natalie
I'm obsessed with Abby's rescue by far your best work it gave me so much respect for you and what you do and how your legacy is undeniable which is obvious by the reaction of every kid in every studio when they saw you walk in. If you were going to do any series again that's the one you should do

Abby, I think that people misunderstand you. The show distorts you to be mean and harsh when really you’re just trying to get a point across. I really think that you don’t get the respect you deserve given that you are one of the best dance teachers/choreographers on the planet. You’ve inspired me, a 13 year old boy to keep dancing and not to give up. You helped me win first place with my solos in competitions. I respect you, Abby. Thank you for giving to the world great choreography and more importantly, inspiration to continue to peruse what we love.

Hi Abby, hugs from 🇨🇦. My favourite part of your teaching is that you are tough on the kids, you push them to do their best because you care. I honestly wish my daughters teachers were stricter with her. They love her to bits but sometimes they let the kids get away with too much. I looked into taking my daughter to your booty camp but unfortunately it conflicts with her studios mandatory intensive camp. Show idea 💡 travel across North America stopping at different dance studios for a surprise class 😊😍 our studio is wheelchair accessible.😉
Abby any man would be so lucky to have you. I think your absolutely beautiful and you do have a very kind spirit, yes you can be short at times but I truly believe it's bcuz you care about these kids and their careers. ❤️

Abby is not mean. She is a perfectionist. The entertainment world is mean. It doesn’t care about the performer, it cares about the viewers. “You are always replaceable.” The girls and moms wouldn’t be anyone if it weren’t for Abby.

Yes, she can be mean but honestly it was reality TV show about women bitching at each other with kids dance in between. If she's nice all the time there is no show. When I watched the show when I was younger I thought Abby was mean, as I grew up and watched the show again I realized it's mostly the producers planning things out to cause fights and arguments.

I was taught ballet, tap, jazz, gymnastics, lyrical and actually break dancing! I was on a traveling team!
I WANTED a career in dance!!!
One school I went to from 3-6 years old was just for kids who wanted to dance.
I WANTED A CAREER in dance and changed Dance Schools. They were a little bit more strict and my peers ALL have careers in dance! Cruise ships, Disney, Rockettes, have their own dance studios, etc.
I stayed with that Studio but was accepted into a VERY STRICT ballet school.
We were weighed, corrected, were expected to fix certain corrections the FIRST time we were told to do so!
So, I have complete respect for you! Because if people do not want to have a CAREER in dance then go to a studio that doesn’t teach you terminology, doesn’t correct you, and is not strict in their learning!!! And doesn’t teach about not always being the best!

Love this channel because in dance moms they make Abbey out to be a horrible person but, on her channel, you see she's just a regular person who can be mean and nice and isn't always just yelling.

It’s nice watching your videos then rewatching the show knowing the truth at what really happened then I have to laugh even the moms said you don’t spend anytime with the girls you were always with them who had your time
Never say never, Abby. Perhaps that adoption didn't end up happening and you didn't get married when you were younger, but that doesn't mean there isn't love and companionship in your future yet ❤
I think the “never” is referring to the fact that felons can’t adopt kids in the US, and Abby is a felon. I don’t agree with that, but it is the unfortunate truth.
@@infinitybauer1187 I don't believe she said "never," but rather she implied that her time has passed (I suppose I was the one to say never). From the info I've been able to find, felons can adopt but it depends on things like the crime and the number of convictions (and Abby's particular case probably wouldn't bar her from adopting). Though, I was kind of talking about finding companionship in any form, bc I think she would really benefit from it ❤

Yes! Started Botox at 25 as a “preventative” now, it costs less Bc I just go in for a touch up. However, you look fabulous!!! You look so happy and peaceful!!! 🌸🥰💯
I would love to learn how to dance from Abby even though I'm 20 and I have 0 dancing bones in my body, not to mention I'm about as flexible as a mirror. I think it would be really fun

people forget about the fact that even for seasoned professionals, learning a new dance to compete, on top of others (e.g. solos, duos, etc) every single week would be a challenge, let alone for 7-8 year old regional casual students. that would be hard for anyone, and hard on the teacher too, it would be exhausting.
That was a fabulous idea! I think they need to pick up that idea

I absolutely love the work you've done! I wish I was lucky to be one of these kids. I am a year younger than Lilliana and I loved when Lilly and Elliana joined because they were almost my age. so happy for them but I am starting ballet soon! :)

I can imagine Abbie being a very ableist person (ironic considering she's currently disabled herself).
As someone with ADHD, based on things she says, I can't imagine her being very acccomodating or tolerant of people like me who are Neurodivergent 😞
Or prone to anxiety. I would be scared stiff of her shouting at me and overthink because of the pressure

@@tijay8507My apologies, I was unaware that you were a Neuroscientist able to debunk years of research on the underdevelopment of areas of the brain such as the pre-frontal cortex and causes an inefficiency of the Neurotransmitter Dopamine which is responsible for all our executive functioning as well as the regulation of emotions, behaviour, attention and the processing of sensory input and pain in the anterior cingulate cortex.
The name ADHD shouldn't exist coz it's the worst explanation of what "ADHD" actually is and the Neurological impact it has on you but if you can please give me a detailed explanation as to why it doesn't actually exist and instead what is actually going on in my brain, because I' genuinely intrigued....
@@SallyH247 You just said it yourself it doesn't exsist and it is a diagnosis handed out to thousands upon thousands of kids! some people have genuine issues and they are being undermined and not treated properly due to useless doctors and a disease that is used to get benefits as it is a clinical diagnosis! I'd so watch a season 9 and/or ultimate. I still remember both winners and all the awesome girls from dance moms. This time they need to just allow you to take a lead and quit wanting the fighting and change pryramid to only take 10 min. I've always wondered why you rushed or became inpatient during pyramid but now we know why lol. I'm just sad we won't see Lily in season 9, maybe they can all open the show or make an appeaance on next show. I miss watching the ogs!
Ok so I am rewatching dance moms and I honestly have to believe that you had a point very often I have agreed with a lot of the things you said but not the way it was said to the kids yk. I am around the girls age and I remeber thinking you were so mean growing up but now i have realized that the way you talked to them is the way any other working person talks to you and that being talked that way from a young age does make you stronger than being babied
