Although Ukrainian troops have entered Russia, the situation will not improve. Because the Ukrainian military cannot receive ammunition and food supplies. And as long as Putin's army can stop the Ukrainian army from continuing to advance. So the probability of Russia winning in the war is still very high

All summer long the Ukraines have been conceding territory while making the Russian army pay the highest possible blood price for every km. The Ukrainians have slowly withdrawn and at the same time fixed huge concentrations of Russian troops all along the eastern front line. The Russian have effectively moved their entire army to Ukraine leaving only border guards, some FSB formations and newly conscripted soldiers to defend Russia. The Ukrainians have spread the narrative that the reason they are slowly withdrawing is because they have almost run out of trained troops. And the entire Russians intelligence services naively and stupidly were sucked into that false reality. The Russians actually believed that they were winning, they believed that slowly but surely they were wearing the AFU down and would soon force Ukraine to the negotiating table. Putins and his incompetence generals have even been floating possible peace proposals.
Meanwhile, Ukrainian generals Snyrskyi and Moisiuk have been quietly and secretly accumulating large multi arm formations in preparation for this devastating attack into Kursk. So successful were the Ukrainian generals that Gerasimov, Belousov and the other Russians leaders dismissed intelligence reports related to the Ukrainian buildup. Even Putin was fooled. The Ukrainian army has given the Russian army a masterclass in mobile combined arms warfare. The Russians are now desperately withdrawing troops from the Ukrainian frontlines and are scrambling to find soldiers that they can use to try to slow the Ukrainian advance.
The contrast between the overwhelming success of the Ukrainian army in Kursk and the miserable failure of the Russian army’s attempted invasion towards Kharkiv this year couldn’t be more stark. The Ukrainian army is maneuvering at will while the Russian army is measuring success in meters.
The Russians had reserves in kursk region but was not near the border which is sheer incompetence by the russian army, but no Russian troops have been relocated from the regular front. Just look at the geolocated maps of the front the Russians are still gaining ground while the special elite Ukrainian troops are in Kursk. Im sorry but the Russian have too much man power and reserves for this new Ukraine offensive to work and to be sustainable. Ukraine has sent its best forces for this endeavor for what PR? Ukraine knows that the eastern front was lost cause because they aren’t able to stop the Russian advance so they needed this stunt to show the world that they are winning.
