probably the question i've been asked the most amount of times ever since i started posting pics and videos online. so here's a little storytime around the topic.
why don't i have eyebrows ? (because i think i'm more beautiful without.)
where are they ? (they're shaved off.)
are they just blonde ? (they're not blonde, they're shaved.)
do i bleach then or how do i remove them ? (with david's razor. )
is this a minimalist thing ? (i guess it's a minimalist aesthetic appearance thing.)
will i ever grow them back ? (maybe.)
considering the thousands of questions and (mostly hate) comments i've by now gotten on the subject, i thought it about time to address this. i hope you get why i'm making this video and that you enjoy it !

so my fascination for futurism, minimalism, and modernism is probably why i walk around without brows. when someone tells me i look like an alien or robot, i see that as success. just the other day, i got told i look like a hotel hostess android. i took that as a compliment !
it's all about self-love, isn't it ? to allow yourself to express who you are, no matter if it's unattractive to the rest of the world. no matter if you're modern, bohemian, classy, or basic. it's about stop caring about what society things, especially the darn haters. haters gonna hate, no matter how we look or behave. better to go down the road of body-positivity and self-acceptance. and why not have some fun with it in the meantime ?

I have a disability and people are making fun of me everyday. Even though they're really mean I got used to it. But I still think that social media etc has made it worse, because since phones have cameras people take pictures of me and I hate it! I also don't think I can ever get used to that. So I think our society nowadays actually makes it a lot harder for people that 'look different '
charleyn71 People take pics of you?? Wtf. I wonder what they're thinking to believe that taking pictures of another person (regardless of their appearance) is okay. My mom is also disabled, but while people often stare they've never taken her picture (that I know of). I'm really sorry you have to go through that; some people really don't understand what is okay and what is not.

It looks fucking awesome. I used to bleach my eyebrows for a long time. I loved how it made my face look, clean, bright skin & your eyes really pop.
Hey- cos your lights are so bright, try a darker concealer/a light bronzer? etc. on the bump where your eyebrows used to be, because it's showing up very white and it would be so seamless and slick if it was even with your skin colour, making your eyes pop even more with zero distractions above your eyes. but you prob noticed this already & it does look very cool in an alien way! x
i was born with dark hair and bleach blonde eyebrows. no one really notices except for the occasional person.

Yeah me too. I still don't feel 100% confident raising my arms in public. Though I feel more beautiful with hair and i am not gonna change cause someone may think I should. On the other hand I also feel kinda shocked when I see someone with shaved armpits showing them off. I guess I somehow tranformed to find showing armpits as kinda vulgar whether you have hair or not. It is wierd :D

Thank you so much for making this video!!! So-called "perfect" brows are considered essential for every woman.
That Instagram-worthy ideal is ubiquitous online these days, and it has made me feel ugly in comparison.
I have spent way too much time and money trying to make my eyebrows look good enough to feel like showing my face in public.
I'm not excessively vain, but I hate trying and failing to feel confident with my appearance.
It has taken over too much of my life, and I'm just over it.
Thanks again for sharing your experience and reason for not sporting eyebrows.

I naturally have almost no eyebrows, on pictures they become those 1,5 cm dots on my big forhead because my skin is as white as yours (I'm a redhead) and reflects the light. Whenever I buy makeup, the assisstant tries to sell me eyebrow products, but I'm so used to my face that I find it unnatural and irritating when they draw them on. I also feel like my eyes, mouth and hair give enough expression to my face already, like you said. So seeing someome choose to not have eyebrows is really cool! :)

I shaved my eyebrows from like age 14 to 23, but a couple of months ago I let them grow out again just because I was curious and now I have had them for a while. I like both! You look great without eyebrows.

I bleach my eyebrows blonde (with face hair bleacher), because it suits me more than my natural brows. Like you say, it brings out your other features!

This is so inspiring. About two weeks ago I was diagnosed with a syndrome called urythema ophyogenes or something like that lol. It's a genetic syndrome where I have queratosis pilaris in my eyebrows. It's extremely rare (according to my dermatologist), and he said that because of it I would loose my eyebrows 😭 I was so so so sad because since I was little I've been always super conscious about my sparse brows, so when he said that I literally cried. Now i realize that they're just brows, and watching your video has given me the courage to embrace my non existent brows whenever the hair starts to fall out. Thank you so so so much 💖

I shaved my head about 6 month ago, it was a liberating and super scary experience. People's eyes were just the hardest thing I had to endure. But it also was great because it allowed me to like my face more than I ever could. i think it was a life changing experience. You're awesome without the eyebrows, much love

I lost my eyebrows June 3rd,2003 after having brain surgery. They fell out due to the trauma. The last 14 years have been such a struggle for me. I've tried tattooing my eyebrows on which only lasted maybe a year. I draw them on every day which takes me an hour or longer depending on the day. I have the biggest complex due to not having eyebrows. I accidentally ran across your video searching for ways to make putting on my eyebrows easier. I just want to thank you for this video and for your confidence. Watching your video made me feel so much better, thank you so much. Please don't change who you are. You are gorgeous inside and out. What I really like about this whole issue is the fact that you are on a level where you genuinely don't care about what others say because you are so comfortable with who you are. You don't just say you don't mind people's "jokes", you honestly don't mind, I can feel that from listening to you talk about it. And just so you know, that's not a level easy to reach but it's an amazing place to look at life from and a great example for others who are struggling to be liked or accepted by the rest of society for whatever reason ^-^

I'm really blond and so do my eyebrows. People love doing jokes about it like "don't you have eyebrows ?" "Where are your eyebrows ?" and at first it really annoyed me but I think it's a part of my identity and I love it. People often told me "why don't you draw them ?" and I'm like don't you think I've tried ? 😂 but every time I tried, it didn't feel like me and I just like the way my eyebrows are. Also I really love to tell complete strangers my life's eyebrows in a comment section of a video 😂😂

Maddies Audio I have it too (part of my OCD - ugh.) I try hard to discipline myself not to do it, but they're so messed up already that it just makes me feel worse. It's a vicious cycle.

In 4th grade, I developed a mental disorder called Trichotillomania. It makes you want to pull out your own hair. It affected my eyebrows and eyelashes and it still is an annoying habit today. However a few years ago, I had no eyebrows because of this condition. I wish I could’ve looked good without them but moral of the story you shouldn’t be bothered by others appearances. Although in this video it was her choice to get rid of her eyebrows, I never wanted to lose mine. People judging me for it made me much more bothered by it. So just chill, let people be them!
