I have a 694 ACS . What a lovely gun to shoot. Really love the adjustability in this gun. It’s a great clay buster gun. Been breaking 24/25 average. Love it.
Hi Matt, Excellent review on Beretta 694 - "Excellent blend of practical & theoretical advice, delivered with humour and wit". It just so happens I have a B694 with the adjustable comb I purchased Oct 2020, which I hope to shoot next week at Doveridge. Thanks for clarifying the location & relationship between Premium Guns and Doveridge shooting ground. Regards, Andy Scotland
I enjoy watching your reviews as they are in depth and really helpful. I should imagine they are a great benefit to anyone who is thinking of buying a gun as you get a good review of a variety of guns without standing in a shop deciding which one to buy, as you have had a great insight before you get there. I have a 694 which I love but it is a bit low in the stock. You mention you can have a adjustable comb fitted, how much would this cost and where would you be able to get this done please?
Hi Eric, firstly thank you for your comment. I'm glad you are enjoying the content. With regards to the comb, we have an on-site independent gunsmith. Come and see us in Doveridge for a pro fit and a fair price :-) Great guns aren't they?
@@PremierGunsDoveridge Thank you for your offer but I should have said I live on the south coast and did not realise how far away you are. That's a 4 hour trip for me one way. I would like to try and get up that way one of these days 😊
Great in-depth review again matt!! I really wanted a 694 but both standard and adjustable stocks were just too high in the comb for my shooting style I pretty much saw the entire rib
@@bumblesquatt i never even thought of that thanks!! I ended up buying a zoli z gun! Very good competition gun but just feels strange compared to my 686e
I have the GMK 31" edition, shoot a 94 average in skeet with it, if your shooting English Skeet, no need for a skeet variant, simply use the sporter. Olympic maybe a lighter / black 28" version might be useful but if your shooting OSK then you will more likely be using a DT10/11 than the 694. One day I'll give gun down a go to see how it performs but the gun is more a gun up style with the larger comb.
Would really like to know how you think the 694 compares to the 687 SP V. I bought the latter a few weeks ago (too impulsive) as the dealer hadn’t got the 694 in stock. Should have gone to PG
Thanks for your comment! Yes they do make a 694 ASC left handed, they come with an adjustable monte carlo stock, palm swell, stock weights, adjustable rib, adjustable trigger and Optima HP chokes. They do this in both 30” and 32” barrels. I hope this helps 😊
Thank you for your comment. I don't actually see many 692's these day but will do a review no problem when I get my hands on one. Hope you are enjoying the channel. Kind regards, Matt
Great review. I shoot a 690 black, for Clay's, and an old 686s for the odd game day and crows/pigeons. I'm thinking of trading them both in for a 694. Anyone use theirs in the field and for game days?
@@Plainsimple67 I agree. I bought a used 694, I only had it 2 months, didn't get on with it at all. I now shoot a Browning Ultra XS Pro. It is a fantastic all round gun, very easy to shoot.
@@NoLogic69 good for you, shoot what works best and fits you, I haven't picked mine up yet, but I don't know, for some reason mine fit me like a glove. Let's see how I do with it at the sporting clays stands!!😉👉
Just to confirm as it’s not clear on the video , the beretta adjustable stock version , the comb height is 10 mm lower than a standard version to begin with ?
I dont think this is correct, i measured 694 b-fast adjustable comb and its same 35/55mm when fixed stock is 30/55 or 35/55mm.. Its way too high for adjustable stock IMO.
We’d recommend either of the guns, the 694 will be a thoroughbred competition gun and will be heavier. The silver pigeon V will be slimmer, lighter and will not have the competition features that the 694 has, however it will have higher grade wood and engraving
Taller people tend to have longer necks and higher cheek bones, this is the reason taller people need adjustable stocks so the stock meets there cheek in the correct place regarding sighting down the rib

Is the Dt11 worth double the price? Im in the market and my budget up to entry level kreighoff (new)

Look forward to seeing you then.
All the best and thanks for your nice comment. 😊
Another in depth review great looking gun tbh
Thank you!
Great stuff 👍👍
Thank you! Cheers!
Great video I got the 694 limited edition and had adjustable comb fitted ,shoot it really well love the gun
Great review....seriously considering buying a lefty 694 bfast. I am a lefty and finding a dealer that has a lefty gun stock is pretty rare....
Good afternoon, like all other shooters i love all your videos. Could you please do a review on the beretta multitarget.
It is on the list 📃 😉
694 or Dt11 thats is my question? Here in Australia 2nd hand 694 approx $5000 ($7000 new) Dt11 approx $9000 ($14000) Then there's krieghoff!

Add a spacer to the pad and it will bring that rib down. It shoots a 60/40 for me with 2 spacers and I shoot at a high level for skeet.
@@bumblesquatt i never even thought of that thanks!! I ended up buying a zoli z gun! Very good competition gun but just feels strange compared to my 686e
Yeah, i agree! 694 adjustable b-fast stock is way too high when on lowest position.

Belting Gun especially 2nd hand!! (got one)
Beavertail foreend as default on all guns now! 😁
694 pro is available in left hand as I have one.

how much does 694 pro 30 inch weigh? is it lighter than the bfast adjustable stock ?
Great overview, I’m curious if the 694ACS Bfast has been updated to include a left-hand version?

Going to be coming up only live in crewe.

How about a review on the 692, I've had one for about 12 months now and think it's a great gun.

I just bought a used 694, I think it's just good for clays, sporting clays for sure, not hunting at all!!🤷♂️

The 694 Skeet is now aviable 😉
Yes that’s correct and I’ve just bought one from Matthew at Premier Guns and I hope I can do it justice, it looks amazing. 🤔💥💥💥
Just to confirm as it’s not clear on the video , the beretta adjustable stock version , the comb height is 10 mm lower than a standard version to begin with ?
Thank you for your comment. Yes this is correct. The factory adjustable model is low in the comb when flat. I hope this helps. Kind regards, Matt
I dont think this is correct, i measured 694 b-fast adjustable comb and its same 35/55mm when fixed stock is 30/55 or 35/55mm.. Its way too high for adjustable stock IMO.
Does the 694 dtl trap and sporting models have barrel selector, trigger adjustment and trigger removal on it?
They do have barrel selector, trigger adjustment but not a drop out trigger
Que me conseiller un 694 sporting ou silver pigeon v sporting
We’d recommend either of the guns, the 694 will be a thoroughbred competition gun and will be heavier. The silver pigeon V will be slimmer, lighter and will not have the competition features that the 694 has, however it will have higher grade wood and engraving
Why is he recommending the adjustable stock for tall guys? I rly tried but can't understand him
Taller people tend to have longer necks and higher cheek bones, this is the reason taller people need adjustable stocks so the stock meets there cheek in the correct place regarding sighting down the rib
694 kaka zaharra
don't go in front of the camera when you have indigestion, it's disgusting
