Design in Dialogue

Ronan Bouroullec is, without doubt, one of the most prolific and influential designers of our time. For more than thirty years, together with his brother Erwan, they have redefined in a singular and poetic manner the typology of a wide variety of objects present in our daily lives; and at the same time, the role of the designer itself. But Ronan is a craftsman above all, someone close to the materials and processes that he personally shapes with a special care for detail. His artistic and creative approach is -as he says-‘free of any methodology’, leaving enough room for intuition and improvisation.
