I’m reading the Tanakh, in Genesis there are several children of Adam who live near 1000 years, Adam himself living almost a millennia. Then there being a flood and Noach and his children also living quite long; how do we get to 5784 as today’s year?
Modern civilization started after the flood. Past civilization started at the beginning of creation. The world was reset due to the flood. Why ? Humans were evil and deleted, Hashem Saved Noah and his family to start this period. We are still in Noah’s civilization. Cuneiform was before the flood. If I’m wrong please correct me. The whole story is ridiculous, why have to fight wars in murder when the 10 commandments say don't kill..
in the literal hebrew the commandments say "do not murder'" NOT do not kill. Self defense and war is therefore justified in order to protect yourself
I agree with you. Hashem teaches us truth and light agrees. 2 makes a way and us on this earth teach truth and light.
