Mega Man No Damage Runs 10: Elec Man

Finally got Elec Man! Out of all of the runs I've done so far, this has been the one I'm most proud of. Elec Man's level may be my favourite in the entire series. Its verticality allows for some unique challenges that are seldom repeated in Mega Man (Crash Man's level in Mega Man 2 is an exception as well as Boomer Kuwanger in Mega Man X). The stage requires timing and patience to avoid the electricity and awareness to prevent those floating enemies from ambushing you on the ladders. I'd be interested in trying this level with the faster climbing that Mega Man starts to have around Mega Man 4; I'm sure it would be an entirely different level!
I used the Rolling Cutter because it breaks this level as most enemies, including the Robot Master, are weak to it. In practice, I could avoid the Big Eye without the Magnet Beam, but I felt nervous, so I used it to jump over it. In terms of recording this level, I nailed it in one attempt and it was certainly satisfying finishing Elec Man just before he was about to shoot!
