- We spent our last day in the Upper Shimla Area hiking up from Janglik Village towards Dayara Thach. It was quite a surreal hike with the bone dry landscape and the frozen waterfalls that criss crossed the forest floor. We made it to the first campsite on the trail, but had to turn back as the weather changed for the worst. So that's why we have to go back to the USA - to complete this hike and explore a lot more!

I am in Canada for more than 8 months now, I am a kind of person who will never stay away from mountains. It's been one year now I have not taken a trip to mountains. You might already know this but anyway someday you muct go beyond dayra tach because the rawness of the place starts from there onwards. There are three trekking trails: ChandraNahan ( 7 lake trek from litham tach), Buran Pass trek from litham thach and rupin pass trek that too from litham tach. Views become surreal from dayra tach onwards. Namaste Ji
