Wow. Perfect wrestle. Thank you!
Amazing thank you for the higher weight classes
Freaking ripped
How does a person that age have that amount of tats on his right arm..Where did he get the money ??
Why are these guys actually sitting in front of the barrier and hindering the athletes when they're just looking at their smartphones and ignoring the competition?
Because they’ve probably seen 50 matches that day. And they’re just getting in the zone for when it’s their turn. Wrestling is a very individual sport.
I know next to nothing so I can't tell you how many matches there are but I'm reading there's 14 weight classes and 12-16 wrestlers per class, that's 168-224 competitors. And that's only the High School division. There's also Middle school, Elementary and Girls. There's 28 mats used for High school and most wrestlers have more than 5 matches per day. It's double elimination tournament and apparently keep wrestling to establish first thru eighth place. The combinations and permutations hurt my head but I'm sure they know how to organize it all. Could be the spectators you saw not paying attention to THIS match were waiting on the next match on this mat. These two wrestlers appear to have custom singlets which apparently are for finalists so I think this is the championship match for 170's. Or, I could have it all wrong! LOL. I'm just reading the rules and observing some details. There's 14 weight classes so there should be 14 championship matches. Good times!
@@jhc651You're spot on, this was the 170 lb championship match. In addition to your keen observation on the finalist singlets, the belt awarded at the end is the other major indicator.
@@MidwestWrestle Yes! That big belt at the end is the most important part, especially for the wearer! LOL
