There's an incredible number of brilliant talents in this team (Hemp, Mead, Williamson to name a few) but I gotta give a mention to Rachel Daly. What a player.
She's been my favorite england player since Houston dash drafted her ..she's amazing leader and captain plus her talent to play litteraly anywhere on the field is exceptional..she's that type of talent u see very rarely

England where wearing their away kit, do u watch the men? Cause sometimes when the oppositions kit (in this case the Netherlands away kit) is the same colour as Englands kit they should be wearing (in this case the England home kit) cause is clashes they have to wear their away kit. Men have worn their away kits loads on home soil.

I think this just demonstrates that England went into this tournament as one of the best teams in Europe.
Netherlands, Norway and Sweden could not live with them.
That's some achievement.
Spain and Germany could live with them but even then England prevailed.

England looked like the Dutch, not just in their play style either. England's second goal was quality football. It just shows how far women's football has progressed. If that sounds condescending, it wasn't meant to be. Once upon a time, it really was dreary and amateurish, but not so much these days(save the Dutch defending at times. 😁).
Women's football hasn't been dreary for at least 40 years. I've been watching the USA team since the 1980s.
When England starts developing and scouting black English girls they will move to the next level and get results like this against the USA. I don't think it is coincidence France the only major nation that develops black girls in large numbers and they have completely ruled European club for 10 years. Everyone said Spain was the new power in European and Lyon just Serena Williams Barcelona in the Champions League. England has the biggest West African population outside Africa and the biggest Caribbean population outside of Caribbean, so it seems moronic that women's football in England has completely ignored these communities and looks embarrassing when you see how diverse the men's teams are. If women's football started going into the diverse areas, developing black girls, England would have 30 Lucy Bronzes, not just 1.
Yes it has progressed but still riddled with silly mistakes as demonstrated here. It feels like the field and goal size is designed more for the more powerful and physically aggressive men's game. If the goal was a touch smaller and field a tad narrower perhaps?
No, for me the potential of the female game is passionate exactly under current conditions. There is nothing to change anything, just keep developing. I am very tired of men's football. It has become a game without spaces, so many times without imagination, excessively physical.

As I keep telling people that from the moment England signed Sarina Wiegman she will push England to their limits as she did with her Netherlands team. Who would have guessed that the Netherlands would have made it to a World Cup final in women's football. Sarina Wiegman made it possible and was the only team to give the United States a proper challenge. England did play fantastic in that semi final match but came up short due to unfortonate technicalities. I have full confidence in England after watching this match that they have what it takes to challenge for the Euros and the World Cup in 2023. Fantastic performance. Neither side in the match started all the players that normally start. For England this proves how much player depth they really have.
Yes, Sarina's work is impressive. She has control of the entire cast, knows and knowing how to use each piece very well. It's really amazing. I am a Brazilian in love with this women's English team.

Great performance by England, a well-deserved W … AND the Dutch looked terrible in the second half. Both the goalie and the defense were just plain bad, and frankly looked like they quit when they were still only down 3-1 - and when the team quits, that’s on the manager.

Absolutely brilliant, not because they're women, but because they're just brilliant footballers, every single one of them, and a great bonus for us men watching, is the fact they're all absolutely beautiful too, but that's besides the point, although hard to miss, especially in the very flattering kits they wear.

This is business, with different men football more sponsorship, and a lot of people watching compare to ladies, not so much.
There’s an energy, commitment and purpose about this ladies team that is not available in the men’s team. I doubt the men could hold them.

I'm personally excited to see the growth of women's football at the international level. Even as an American, I wish to see more teams around the world taking over the women's US legacy to create higher levels of competition across the globe.
