Going by the squared-off seat cushions and the chrome trim around the glovebox openings, 834 KNM looks to be a 1960-62 MM. Okay, that's the technical/nerdy stuff out of the way! Now a thank you for posting this - Laura's total joy when she first sighted her Traveller was just wonderful. Looking forward to the restoration updates. What a lucky girl she is to have not only her dream car, but such kind and decent parents.
Being relatively simple mechanically and with every part available and fairly affordable, including body panels, these cars make great restoration projects, and the result is a decent, practical and attractive retro-styled little car which can be kept going virtually indefinitely. They even make good investments, selling for very good prices
Just be careful with the quality of new parts: I prefer to sometimes source good 2nd hand parts. Some parts advertised as compatible arn't: e,g. wiper arm wheel boxes where the no. of teeth on the new one is different to the originals. Also some chrome parts don't stay rust free for many years: clean up the original one as patina is good!
Great stuff, dad has a Moggy Traveller and we've a few oldies ourselves, my 12yr-old son is a big big fan of anything old like this, good luck with the rebuild 👍👍👍👍

It's a lovely and romantic idea but do you really want your most cherished to be an inexperienced driver rattling around in a car that was built half a century before NCAP safety was introduced to keep motorists safe in an accident?

834 KNM, is not on dvla. not known. HEU 351H last tax was due in 1986 and changed hands on 1984.
