This LS6 has its original matching-numbers, born-with LS6 454/450hp V8 engine, Muncie 4-speed manual transmission and 12-bolt posi-traction rear end. Selling with No Reserve, January 20-28 at WestWorld of Scottsdale.

Mr. Jackson said in this video the car was optioned with 15 inch SS wheels. I don't believe 15's were even available for an option on Chevelle, Camaro or Nova.
The hell it wasn't a street racer. It dealt more a$$ whoopin's than the Hemi's. I saw a numbers matching one in Pigeon forge TN during the Summer Rod Runs. It was in rough shape,....but only had 6,900 miles and some change. It had the original poly glass tires on it. The guy that owned it backed off the trailer. Pulled behind Texas Roadhouse on the strip. Destroyed the back tires for at least 8 seconds. Then backs up,.......revs it to Lord knows what,......and I saw that thing pull the front wheels off the ground that would've cleared a beer can upright.
And I even Love the Color.... I will be bidding....

I own a 1970 Forest Green # matching Chevelle. It's only a meager L34 350 hp 396/402 4spd w/black bench seat . Still a desirable auto but would never command the kind of money here.
I also own a 70 Forest Green L34 4spd with white stripes and black bench seat interior. You know as well as l do the 402 is no slouch,but you're right about not commanding the high value of the LS6.As far as l know l will never sell my car.Times are hard but I'm not that desperate.
Did Chevy make any SS Chevelle convertibles with the aluminum head 460hp 454?
No, they only made the L78 396 with the L89 option for the Chevelle although the Corvette 427 had a L89 aluminum head option.
appears to have 69 SS door emblems....WTF.
