There are many cases of children that die drowning in water by accident. That kid seemed like the type that is stubborn given that she disobeyed him and continued to play with water and didn't turn off the tap. Sometimes you gotta be strict, not extremely but to the point that your kids will understand what's wrong and what is right. Hats off to Jackson and his way of handling

And then how he instantly became affectionate towards her after she agreed not to play with water anymore was the perfect thing to do. Remaining mad or holding a grudge after discipline negates the desired effect. this was very smart of him to do - he handled the situation really well.
this is proper parenting. parents should never resort to violence to discipline a child. i think it's so normalized that ppl forget or even refuse to believe studies that show just how harmful it is. i never understood why ppl think it's okay for an adult to hit a defenseless child. as adults we know better we have the capacity to effectively communicate with a child. honestly gentle parenting and how neurodivergent kids are raised should be the norm
