Are there any videos showing how to reattach a slipped belt?
You do get an intermittent starting problem on these, where the pull cord requires numerous pulls to get the mower started, even on a hot engine. I believe its an issue with the autochoke on the carburetor and the tensioner spring. A spray of wd 40 did resolve it for a while but now the problem has come back and considering buying another mower, albeit getting very little for your money nowadays.
I wish stihl would sell gas push mowers in the US

Hey Bob, this engine looks completely different. It's Deffo not the Briggs and Stratton engine that everybody has seen and reviewed. This is the new evc 200. Guess they didn't want good engines in cheap mowers.

Does it not need oil putting in the engine?
Of course it needs oil, I do not know any engine working without oil.

Stihl RM 248 T use 600 ml 1SAE 0W30 engine oil.

Everything looks very cheap and flimsy. Shame, I have my saws and trimmers from Stihl was looking to keep it in the family.
