Very patient approach by Qian. It's difficult to shift gears and suddenly face an opponent like Grandma Ni who showed her appreciation towards the end. For all out attacking beasts this is a valuable lesson.
Became easier in the end. Kept on looping to Nis backhand accurately combined with a forehand attack in both directions...
Qian was struggling all the way until the last game where she finally figured out using backhand flip to attack Ni's backhand soft block and gained the confidence to do so with high successful rate.

this is just the same of how bernadette zxocs defeated ni.she always put the ball on the bachand side of ni.then usexthe backhand flick.and that's the weaknese of ni..but i respect to grandma..

Какая противная бабушка, делает подставки с пустыми мячами. Но все наверное увидели, как она слабо играет слева. После третьего, четвертого удара часто уже не готова слева принимать. А Qian это увидела и только и долбала ее влево, даже топс делала ей под лево
Not being prejudice but pimples have not much skill, only to upset normal play with awkward spins/rolls. Inverted rubbers, when used efficiently, produces speed, spin and positive control, all with normal physical trajectories. Collectively those characteristics put on superbly exciting matches for us. A respected, demanding and wonderful sport, say no more.
I can assure you pimples and antitops do produce normal physical trajectories ; )
And it absolutely requires a lot of skill to compete with non-inverted rubber on this level. It is an advantage as its less common, like a left-handed player who forces you to change your service game or a penhold player where you are less able to predict placement from body posture.
Even normal rubbers will not produce spectacular rallyes all the time, it is just more likely because players do not have to think as much about spin & trajectory.
Being forced to think makes the game more stragetical, which is much more exciting.
I also play penhold short pips+inverted and tend to twiddle a lot to create maximum shot/spin variation. For me its more automatic, my opponents need to adjust. It's an advantage that requires a lot of training. Ni does have a spectacular playstyle that is hard to master in my opinion.

As a long pip defender myself with inverted on forehand side, I hear the beforementioned prejudices from your preposter all the time.
Then, if you give them your setup they can't do shit with it because the expect the material to do magic withwork without any thinking😂
True in just one point.
Pimples itself don't inherit skill, the players who are able to properly use them do.
And you don't use rubbers efficiently but effectively, just sayin'.
