As an Asian woman, to me Rachel is more relatable. Strong, self-made, and true to herself. Having a degree from Stanford University is not too shabby either. And she has more integrity than any of those snobs .

I don’t get why other people saying that Henry is not asian enough, He exactly looks like South East Asian!!! Asia is not about Chinese, Japanese, Koreans or east asians. There are Indians, Middle eastern, Malaysians, Filipinos, Indonesians and alot more. We have a diverse culture with different skin tone and different looks, but were all Asians 😌
I love how Gemma always listens whenever somebody speaks in every interview she had. She doesn’t cut them off and she lets them finish. She never speaks until it’s her turn
Gemma Chan is now the lead in Eternals, and Henry Golding is the lead in Snake Eyes. This movie definitely changed a lot for Asian actors. Shang-Chi and Mortal Kombat both on the way too.
This interviewer was pretty insensitive with her questions... how did she get assigned to this interview... there was so much more substance that could've been drawn out in this interview

Personally, it felt like Constance could have used more acting workshops.. 😬 I did not feel the connection to her role while watching the movie and to me, it felt like as if she was just reading the lines and not putting in heart to the role 😥 that's what i felt the whole time sadly 😆 but then again, it IS only the 1st ever movie, if the others come out, hey maybe she would have been to more acting workshops then 😄 and hopefully I will be able to get and 'see' the big picture
Gemma Chan is already perfect for her character and John M. Chu casted the characters on point. If you read the books which I highly encourage you to do so, you will see the perfect resemblance of Gemma Chan and Astrid Leong which is the character that she is playing. There is no need to petition or switch roles, the cast is already on point as it is.
No one needs to "mark your words" (they are not that original), even if you've already said it at the movies. There is a sequel to the book, so obviously there will be a sequel to the movie. 🤦
