I feel like a buffed anvil launcher would be a good counter. EMP grenades were very common so everyone could just stack up 12 or more of them and spam if the first few didnt hit the car. However with the anvil launcher, you are locked to a max of 12 and cant just spam it as you would have to line it up to make your attack count. Another thing could be an anvil launcher that slows down cars not to 0% speed but maybe 50% speed (like a net or something on their tires)

I think buffed vehicle damage would be cool, but mid player damage so do you take it as a car counter or risk not taking it

An exotic is ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️, same rating/power as mythic and exotics are supposed to be a unique combination of two somewhat basic items.... you NAILED that perfectly!
It'd probably be easy to implement as well.... just a very slightly weaker EMP that is a modification of the explosion.
And I could even think of a name; AnvilDisruptionLauncher.
I think the problem is that epic doesn't do separated loot pools anymore. One for BR and one for ranked. Hence why many people are so tired of this!

One thing that confuses me is that everyone is saying they love this season because "all the sweats are having a hard time because they cant just build". I'm a casual player who doesn't even play build mode because of sweats but now I cant even play zero build because I cant even shoot at people now..
The only times I have died are from players with the mythic cars out lasting my cars health or getting ran over because stepping foot out of a car and running is, I guess, something I shouldn't be allowed to do in this season...
Nerf the car health so that you can shoot them down again with a regular ass gun and I bet you everyone will stop complaining.
EXACTLY i got to end of match and against 2 people in a car, didnt stand a chance they had boss car also, rest of my team was dead no point shooting at a hardened boss car just got ran over and machine gunned.
It's like 1.5 mags from most guns to kill a car.. they die so fast your just bad.

I started in C3S2 where tanks, war busses, choppers, jetpacks *and* speed boats were all a thing. Having cars shoot at me is a little bit of nostalgia lite.

As someone else said, the problem is that it may be TOO good of a counter. With the season being entirely themed around cars, having something that you can just throw and instantly disable all of them AND deal 80 shield damage to the driver(s) would just discourage using them...

i agree so much bro, the developers made it so easy this season for bots to run away when they cant handle build fights or just regular fights. for example, shockwaves, nitro fists, now a guitar that sends you across the map and has a short cooldown, also get this, it has INFINITE charges AND its EASY TO FIND.

It's the only way to win in this season because ironically it LITERALLY makes you use skill because it gets you to mix things up.
As a player who quit in chapter 4, i personally loved the seasons like this that have came along the way which made Fortnite either feel fresh and like a WHOLE new game, or to wear there weren’t 10 mythics on the map and everything was a simple battle royale (Fortnite OG). As those 2 terms either bring it back to when the game wasn’t overwhelming by a meta you have to keep up with, or a who’s new meta everyone is adjusting to. It just made the game a lot more enjoyable for a more casual player as I’ve lost all my competitive reasoning in the game.
Yeah, Fortnite is all about pivoting, & there are so many peeps crying this season simply because they don't want to change their playstyle. I'm having a blast & I'm not a casual either. The game needs disruption, but most 10 years old's aren't going to understand that, or care.
Fortnite is just doing to much now, they need to get a group of Fortnite players together so they can test out the new weapons and features for the next season before it comes out so not everything would be to overpowered

I won my first game by hiding from the cars under the bridges, and even then I needed a car for the early game, a way to stop them needs to be added, though I think nerfing the guns so building can let you escape would help
got to final 10 in duos, 3 boss cars, 1 normal car fully decked out, and a duo just using nitro fists to basically just fly

They need to double drop rates for the torch to fix cars, I can never find one when I actually need it but when I’m alone I can’t stop finding them.

Many tactics can be used to dodge vehicles.
● 1 : Using CrashPads to react and bounce vehicles up and away from you when they attempt to RAM you.
When done successfully you also get benefited massively with these for the entirety its in the air....:
•🚫🔫🚫The vehicle cannot attack you with turrets because they have to be mounted on top of said vehicle and cannot shoot through itself to attack you from below them. (You may even cause them to waste the turret usage).
•🚫↩️🚫The vehicles will have LITTLE TO NO MOVEMENT AT ALL (even when boosting) which will pervent the ability to choose the direction they want to go to and usually ends up making it VERY predictable where the said vehicle will land so you can prepare a combo of attacks and damage.
•⏬️⛽️⏬️ their fuel will be drained and wasted a bit.
•⏬️♨️⏬️ their nitro will be drained and wasted a bit.
● 2 : you can use NitroFist's. 💥Uppercut✊️ to react and force the vehicle in the air. (Will cost a 🔋[charge])
When done successfully you also get benefited massively with these....:
•⚠️⬇️⚠️ If they so chose to exit the vehicle at all. They'll fall to their DEATH or severely injure themselves. (Unless they have something to save themselves from the fall, which even then will force them to a the very least consume usage of something)
•🚫↩️🚫They lose massive amounts of control and momentum (just like the 2nd benifit of the CrashPad tactic)
•⏬️⛽️⏬️ Fuel will be drained and wasted a bit.
•⏬️♨️⏬️ Nitro will be drained and wasted a bit.
○ 1@2 : By combining ShieldBubbles, you can force them to ram you instead of using turrets.
And in some cases; this will cause someone trying to escape repair, and refuel to go back assuming you can't do anything to them about to ram you.
But inevitably when when they so try. They'll only make themselves more vulnerable than they already were.
● 3 : using DASHES from underworld biomes to dodge EXPLOSIVE turrets. (Although this is not good against MACHINE GUN turrets. Nobody is smart enough to ever perfer a MACHINE GUN one over a EXPLOSIVE one.)
● 4 : Using NitroSplash to easily jump away from vehicle attacks.
● 5 : Using floor build peices you can stand your ground on the side of a hill and use the floors to redirect them away from you.
On the Mad Max thing, I believe it's gonna happen. Rust's emote HAS to be a reference and the whole car battle thing is just a given. Fun fact in a game I killed a bot with the username "MaximumMad" so I think it's apparent there's a collab in the works.
I mean my duo and I won a match yesterday without even modding a car or getting into any car fights. All gunfights and strategic travel on foot. Its not all bad

The cars are way too powerful, no question. You may have different opinions, but try going up against a car with no car of your own. It doesn't matter how good your loot or skill is, cars ruin it.

Personally as someone who just started playing last season and being one of the very few players who liked cars I love this season but I do think that some things should be nerfed so that older players can enjoy it again
Fun is the important thing, sweats aren’t playing to have fun, that’s why they hate this season
I'm not a sweat and just an avg player. My only issue is that the cars especially with turrets are way too OP. Just want them to nerf them some, which should be coming in a few weeks.

This is like the first time a Season of a Chapter is both loved and hate
Finally a season where everybody can use the meta and people get angry. I've had some of the most fun this season by destroying people with my duo. As soon as they make the cars unusable because a bunch of sweats started crying on twitter, they lose the half that found it fun
In one match I landed on the battle bus, killed the machinist boss, and decided to use the car for the entire match with my teammate. 20 minutes later, I won the match with a crown and got an accolade for not building for the entire match.

Once I used a car the entire match, got the no building accolade, and got the no reloading accolade
In solo, I got stuck in a boss car driven by another player... He got very close to me so my only option to survive was to enter the car... Once I was onboard, we were stuck in a lose-lose situation were he had to keep driving around without leaving his seat, same for me on the passenger seat with the turret. So we ended up cleaning the map and being the 2 remaining players... Boss cars have to be nerfed, they are way too OP.

I think nerfing how much damage the nitro fists do (including megola don’s) and increasing the cooldown on the dashes and the uppercut could help fix that problem a lot. I mean they’ve done it before with the shockwave hammer.
Yes because i cant Even play the game normally without someone spamming me with 150000 rockets and turret bullets every 2 seconds now and im not trying to call anyone bad but cars are super over powered and unfair to both sweats and Casuals and i think they should be heavily nerfed in terms of health and damage

I do love this season because it feels new and it’s fun to play with friends, although I feel they should add anti car stuff like the anvil launcher, EMPs, and maybe clingers and the heavy sniper like C3S2. It would make it much more balanced
The car stuff should be an LTM with no other weapons.
Maybe the mod-able cats should be limited to the 3 bosses, and then lock up/empty fuel after a certain amount of storm circles or when only 5-10 players remain
I like their suggestion of the anvil having an EMP effect on vehicles.
I dont mind the season, my only grip is that in solos/duos how if you get a medallion you also get a beefed up car. Its just too OP. Of the final 3 , usually there are 2 of the 3 boss cars there.
They should've just kept the off road tires and cow catcher and we'd be good

I can no longer call this game Fortnite. The last time I was hipped for this game was when chapter 3 came out. This game now is only just being like "HAY WE HAVE A RANDOM NEW COLLABORATION SKIN!!!" The game has lost its charm and all I want is to go back to the simpler times when there were only huge collabs like every half a year or so. Fortnite had a good run but It's time Epic games puts it down. they should stop updating the game after they give people what the want which is a never ending season of OG and the stop updating it. I'm done with this game.

I rely on builds so much so I wish this was it’s own game mode with cars how they used to be in builds but the other half of me loves the high speed car chases the whole game. It’s so weird to not really have to loot anymore and it’s even weirder that most games the island is left alone

I'm not much of a good player and I honestly hate the cars. I hate the season I quit.
In my opinion, this season's actually pretty cool. I've already been going nuts with the Nitro Fists, and just enjoying the season in general.
Also, when I looked at the Brite Rider skin, I noticed a symbol on her back that resembled a cloud with a rainbow thunderbolt. I saw it and immediately thought of the Cutie Mark of Rainbow Dash from My Little Pony. It probably has nothing to do with MLP at all, but it does look a lot like that same Cutie Mark to me.

I think the train may come back later. There is a strange mythic currently only obtainable from loot island spawning in. Conductor hand cannon. New potential boss who will get the train up and running on nitro steam power later is my guess.
I hate this season. Trying to combat the fists is obnoxious. I'm a average player last season averaged 4 or 5 kills a game this season 10 plus every game driving car feels so easy to kill players. Plus map feels so small now since you can drive back and forth all game with no worries of storm hitting you

Yes it's fun. Playing solo is extremely challenging to drive and gun. No quick changes from gun to driver seat makes it difficult to switch. There is alot of bugs to work out

I get that completely but coming from other seasons I average 5 kills a game. To now double and I never leave a car it's alittle ff balance. I can sit in one circle kill 3 people. Get to new circle and wait and repeat. No challenge in it. You sit in cars no longer need meds or shield or movements cuz it's cars and catcus that's it

I’m on the community’s side because I hate the fact that Epic Games always trolls us! That is the reason why I hate Epic Games, I need them to listen to their community just like Insomniac! And they need to make the game fun again!!!!!!
This season is so great!!! The game is so fast and wild and satisfying when u bounce around taking multiple teams out. Embrace the change cause its great once u get into it lol

Don't know what your talking about I've been having a lot of fun eliminating sweats with cars, Fortnite finally add some kryptonite so sweats don't stand a chance really. I say this change was very much needed!!!

It certainly feels that this season is fresh given the concept of the cars. However it does feel like the cars need a nerf (especially the boss cars) as well as another way to damage cars more. Also thought I would just say that I have used your code in the item shop and as someone who streams Fortnite on Twitch your videos are really awesome. Keep up the amazing work!

I was told by a friend at the movie studio, the reason Furiosa was dropped from this season was that the Epic games creative team was shown an advanced screening and deciding it was just not something they could promote to an audience primarily made of children. Also Max isn't in the film so its not a Mad Max film. To make it worse its a prequel so you already know how everything plays out so its very hard to get behind characters. also the Original Mel Gibson version of Mad Max was completely off the table and he would have been the one major skin people would want.
Seeing that Furiosa absolutely bombed they are probably very happy they decided not to use the crossover. Plus if you have the original three Max films you know the subject matter is in no way those under 18 should be watching according to the rating system.

This season can be very fun, but only when playing with friends. Playing solo or random queuing is extremely frustrating

If I’m being honest, I play Fortnite a lot and I still will continue playing, but it really does not feel like Fortnite currently because all sandy and confusing where all the bosses are
It’s the fact people wanted a feature where you could mod a vehicle and when epic brings it in game they want them to take it out the fan base does not make sense anymore
I think to the EMPs should be buffed not only to disable cars but to also to disable the turret/grenade launcher.

Yesterday was all cars, today... everyone is focusing the cars and boss cars and getting rid of them.
People realised how powerful boom bows are. And how beneficial it is to destroy repair stations towards endgame.
I've had a endgame with one guy in a car and he lost.
Cars don't gurentee victory. They, are a big advantage if you ignore them.
I think the new season is great, but solos is unplayable now, it’s mainly bad for me because solo is my favourite game mode
I think the cars should be in a seperate mode
