    I have the CB300R /21. I totally agree with you. I also don't like that the screen gets scratched easily .
    Of course, I still love it.

    As someone who is similar in size to you, this is reassuring. I was worried I would be stymied by the smaller motor and would have to upsize to a 650cc bike(which is just more expensive all around).

      @ridingwithjamee191  Před rokem

      Yes I agree the 650 is more expensive all around. I do find my 300 to have plenty of power however for a ride of my size. It gets up to speed just fine and will still do 75 to 80 2ith me on it with no issues. Cornering and handling are also excellent. I love this thing so much. Just enough power to have fun not enough to get you in trouble

    2 things great video no lindsay married 2 of them haha
    keep incorporating all aspects of riding coastlines give sometimes an unrealistic perspective as l ride on Cape Cod and Palm Beach so 35mph but always unique a ripper for sure i can get up on the rpm with feel as though i can actually utilize 60% of what shes made for 2015 cb300f new to me but heavy mods similar to yours primary bike which i built frame up (xr600 frame) is an XR650L a very different bike that requires gear, mx boots etc per ride you are physically drained doing the same loop as a cb300f done as a golfer this is my gym best

      I chose to go with the name Penny for her. I recently moved to NC so the scenery in my new videos will all be different thats for sure

    Have same exact color bike I’m about 2 months in 2k miles ave 74.5mpg have Trex tail tiddy, arrow gp2 exhaust loud as a mouther humper. An went with bar mirrors. As far as chain noise make sure your lubing your chain, also a replacement chain did quiet my issue. All that being said I’m getting bored with the bike I want more power. It is a great starter bike tho. Looking at the aprilia 660 tuono now might pull the trigger next fall

      I couldn't agree more. Great starter bike and very much love the color combo but I too am starting to get bored and looking for more power. I plan to finish out this season on this bike then look for either a cb1000r or a yamaha mt07 come next year

      @@ridingwithjamee191 same here man. About to have only 1000 miles on mine and getting tired of the very short gears. Mine is still 100% stock, I don’t think I will be wasting any money if I will be trading it in next season. Do you have in mind as a replacement? This bike is very nimble and fun to ride, been loving it for the city commute.

      @@ridingwithjamee191 my commute is mostly city, no highway and I love how nimble and fun this bike is around town. Been looking at the CB650R but I keep getting told the power really only kicks in at over 8000 rpm which doesn’t make it a fun ride in the city. Damn I really love the bike but getting tired of constantly changing gears. By the way I saw how easy it was for you to install the Yoshimura and made me believe I can do it too. That will be my first mod. Leaving in MA I am also going to enjoy the rest of the season before the winter kicks in don’t wanna be stuck with shopping around and eagling with inventory shortages. Enjoy your ride man and long live the CB300r

      @ridingwithjamee191  Před 2 lety

      @@Slopes27 yes that is true about both the 650 and the 1000. They get the power higher in the revs due to being in line 4 cylinder motors. I agree not as fun around town thats why I still plan to keep the 300. The 300 is an absolute blast to ride no matter where I am! Long live the cb300r

    800 mile trip! Damn! How many stops for the night on that trip? Always wanted to go to Maine. I'm here in Charleston WV. We have great places to ride.

      Zemos i did the trip straight thru. I left my house at 4am. I got to my brothers 800 miles away at 10:45pm. Took me almost 19 hours. Cost me $80 in gas. I stopped 8 times at $10 per fill up.

      @@ridingwithjamee191 Man, that's insanely impressive. I usually do 5hr day rides here in Charleston WV. Like to ride to Hawks Nest. I'm pretty warn out after that. I'm 48 and 230 lb though. I've, been thinking about heading to the beach on it at some point.

    • @ridingwithjamee191
      @ridingwithjamee191  Před 2 lety +1

      @@-ZEMOSGATE- I also did the entire trip by myself. I was exhausted by the end to say the least. I had to have my brother undo my helmet straps for me cause my fingers didn't wanna work properly. If you ever come to Maine we can get together and do some day trips for sure. I really wanna do mt Washington soon and that would be a day trip. Its about an hour and ahalf from where I live. That dosnt include riding up the mountain or back down. Thats just to get there.

    KTM 390 or cb 300r what would you suggest

    • @ridingwithjamee191
      @ridingwithjamee191  Před 2 lety +2

      Well I personally have no experience with the KTM. That was an option for me when I got my cb300r but being a honda guy I went with the Honda. They are both very similar in the way they ride and feel while riding. They both have very similar power and price tags as well. I would recommend doing as much research as possible before making your decision
