Fiji Airways, a member of One World, flight report FJ361 from Nadi to Singapore, showing the Fiji Airways inflight service and experience onboard the A330-200
This flight takes about 10 hours (departs at 11:40 and arrives at 6pm local time), with lunch and dinner served onboard. In both services, two choices are offered. For lunch, they serve vegetarian meal or rice with chicken. As for dinner, I opted for rice with chicken. Fiji Airways is rated 4-star by Skytrax. I'm sure this airline has a lot of rooms for improvement.
Throughout the flight, you can frequently see cabin crew walking up and down the aisle, offering drinks and snacks. Wanted to say thanks to all the cabin crew for delivering very fabulous service especially the handsome gentleman crew, Mr Fonmanu and another two female crew (forgot to notice their names). The male crew's look resembles the actor of Crazy rich Asian, what do you think? =D Unfortunately, I forgot to ask them for a photo.
Airlines' ground staff and cabin crew are genuinely friendly, warm and friendly. Whenever they saw my camera, they would smile, wave their hands and say "Bula" (Hi in Fijian). As an overall, I enjoy my experience with this Pacific based 4-star airline, Fiji Airways. Thank you for watching and don't forget to subscribe to my channel.

I think service by the crew was pretty good. It will make the meals taste good too. For me, if the crew is very good, my whole flight regardless of class, is very good too.

Craig Willis Thanks for the comment. Fijians are so friendly and hospitable. When you talk to them, you can sense that they see you like their real friends. Had lots of chat with the crew on board and staff at the hotel.
I have found Fiji Airways flight crews provide some of the best customer service in the air.
Flew on the new A350-900 from LAX-NAN-LAX back in January/February and the service was outstanding! And the aircraft was beautiful!

That’s a cool review. This particular A330 you flew on (DQ-FJP) was originally with Etihad Airways then it was leased to Air Seychelles before Fiji Airways acquired it. When it was with Fiji Airways, it retained the old Air Seychelles interior. Fiji Airways then phased out this plane and it’s sister unit (DQ-FJO) when the A350s were delivered.

Nice to hear reviewers being nice for a change. I have been on Fiji airways and loved it. I recently went on China Southern and all the American reviewers kept saying it was awful while filming inside the plane and wondered why the cabin crew were dismissive of them. Probably coz U R bagging them while asking for a second glass of wine. I was terrified after watching the reviews but the flight and crew were A-plus. Can't say the same about some American airlines where I once got a sandwich of ham and bread ( that's it) served to me in a brown paper bag.........school lunch anyone?

Yes, many so called famous youtuber complaining about their service. Whining almost everything from food, welcome drink, alcoholic drink etc. It's seems that they had so many hatred against these Chinese Airlines. They want to be served like a high class VIP but so pathetic their manners and attitude are so low until they had no respect for themselves.

Genki's Travels that's so true. I would say the whole set of crew are fabulous. They keep their smile throughout the 10-hour flight during the service. Definitely want to fly with Fiji Airways again.

Unfortunate that you got the older A330 aircraft. All the times I’ve flown with Fiji Airways I’ve been lunch to fly on the A330-300 variant which is much more modern and full interior deco’d our in their motif & livery and in flight entertainment was top notch.

FOOD LOOKS DELICIOUSSS...
You forgot to take into account that the A330-200 aircraft is 15 years or older. These variants from airbus have been flying now for many years. So I'm not surprised that things inside them seem a touch old when compared to newer aircraft!

They are so amazing, friendly and attentive.
Have fllown with FA quite frequently and got upset as most of them were not as friendly. And was hosting as just a job and not being keen. But after watching this latest clip. Gonna give a try again. Soon. To b honest just booked one now. While commenting. Auckland to Nadi.. January 2020.

It's our favorite... we can eat it all day long...
That would be great if they had Fiji to Denpasar direct flights. I’ve been to both places and the landscapes are pretty similar and the beaches as well. Beaches in Bali and Fiji (mainland) are both slightly on the dirty side and colour are dark greyish. However the similarities are that the nice beaches and waters are not far to reach by boats. Balinese and Fijians are also both genuinely friendly. Bali is cheaper and more exciting. Fiji is very upmarket but I saw a growing backpackers crowd developing while I was there last Feb. Hopefully Wailoaloa bay becomes the new Kuta or Seminyak area of Fiji.

I'm sure the crew are good people but my recollection of Fijians in general is of their beautiful and much darker Melanesian aspect. Why is "being more white" preferred by far too many?
Not all Fijians are dark-skinned, there are quite a few light-coloured indigenous Fijians
I'm Pure Fijian but I'm not dark in color. I have fair skin and so the rest of my family. To keep in mind Fiji is cross bridge of the Pacific. We connect all the nesian. Poly , mela and micro. That's why we a unique because of who we are .

Good looks lol they treat us Fijians on board differently from other overseas passengers whilst on flight never flying with this hopeless airline again always a lot of delays, cheap food, fake hospitality
William Mathias I noticed that. I flew Honolulu/Nadi route and back. They were so nice to me but to the ones right in front of me, think they were either Fijians or from somewhere else, they treated them so badly. Other than that, they were ok.

No choice. Their A332 is quite ageing. How I wish if they deploy A350 for Nadi-Singapore route and I would be able to enjoy it.
