So sorry to hear man. My dad died a little over a year ago and I had to take an emotional break from life for a while. Got all the work done in front of me but you know no one would expect your heart to be in it. You make great content and no one is going anywhere while you go through whatever process you need. I'm so sorry you're going through this James. I lost my mother in 2011 and it was the hardest thing I've ever had to deal with. Not a day goes by where I don't think of her in some way. Your situation is very similar to what a best friend of mine is dealing with whose father was recently diagnosed with terminal pancreatic cancer. When the time inevitably comes, I will be there for him as much as I can. Loss is always difficult, especially when it's a close family member. But they live on through you. Stay strong! ❤

Lost my dad in Oct 2009, mom only 6 months later in May 2010 at 29 years old, no more help or guidance after that double blow ..my wife's sister in Nov of 2021, and my wife in Dec 2021 to covid..But it does get better, Just be grateful with the time you had and the lessons you learned. ❤️.

I can relate to your loss. My mother died from stage four liver cancer [11 years ago], she was only 60 years old. The pain of loss is still there even after all these years; I miss her so much (too much). My condolences to you, your family, and to those connected to him. Sending my prayers that you all find closure and peace. Just keep in mind that he is no longer suffering and that he may now rest in peace.
Obviously I don’t speak for everyone, but take as long as YOU need. I lost a parent last year, and I know how surreal, strange, and numbing it can feel. I didn’t feel any profound grief for weeks, and then one day I started thinking about memories of him, and it all hit me at once. Lean on your loved ones, tell stories, anything. I'm so sorry you're going through this James. I lost my mother in 2011 and it was the hardest thing I've ever had to deal with. Not a day goes by where I don't think of her in some way. Your situation is very similar to what a best friend of mine is dealing with whose father was recently diagnosed with terminal pancreatic cancer. When the time inevitably comes, I will be there for him as much as I can. Loss is always difficult, especially when it's a close family member. But they live on through you. Stay strong! ❤

The pain of loss is still there even after all these years; I miss her so much (too much). My condolences to you, your family, and to those connected to him.
