Wow.... what a brilliant cover. In rare occasions the covers match or beat the originals. In this case, the original was a gem and a highly competitive performance. The renditions I heard so far of this song either touch the original at some places but falls in most of the cases. That is predominantly this composition has very high European classical ingredients than a typical indian music. Back then in 1993, in India no one other than A R Rahman dares to experiment with these kind of scales and notes.. But your background and your well trained Italian voice adds the right flavor for this song. I loved this version more than the original. You have nailed it really.. And kudos to those people who helped you with the Tamil words. The pronunciation is almost flawless. The band did a fantastic job. Love to hear more such covers. And your Italian Reprise of Anbin Vasale from movie Kadal is also great to hear. I wish you all the best.
If AR Rahman does ever want to make an another version of this song, undoubtedly you will be his priority!!!
