I’d your honda has a tune and you bring it to the dealer and the dealer plugs up the car for any reason (diagnosis, software update, etc) all honda warranty will be voided on the car. Modded parts should be fine
I Just went yesterday for a test drive on a 2018 type R with 4500 miles on it and and second year was grinding a couple of times so I'm planing on doing the transmission fluid flush as soon as I get it, other that that the car was 10/10

Great video I own a 2017 civic type r sence brand new now has 67,000 miles on it and still drive amazing. I got 18 titan 7 td6 took those 20 inch from factory change twice the transmission fluid and brakes and rotors once

I am running 18x9.5 +35 if your running 265-35-18 you will rub. I made that mistake +38 is the ideal offset! Great video brother, if your ever in Houston look for us FK8Houston

Just picked up my R a couple weeks ago. 2019 with 6k miles. I do have second gear grind but adjusted clutch pedal and haven't had it happen again.

Why do you have OEM lug nuts on one side of the car w/aftermarket wheels? No bueno.
Had to have the whole knuckle system replaced after one of the lugs got cross threaded when I took the car in for a rotation. just haven't got new lugs yet. I know already lmao

How close do you make yearly to afford this Type R? I'm close to landing a 56K per year job and live with my sister and her fiance who charges me $280. I spoke to them about rent and they will not raise it. My expense is credit card which I pay about $500 a month, phone $40, house rent, $280, my daily car insurance (Camry Se 2012) $100 which is estimated around $920 per month. I am planning to down atleast 7k if I was to get a Type R. Could you explain if the finance is a burden or should I just wait? 22 and always wanted to get a Type R since I was in college so I'm graduating soon so decided I want to reward myself.
My other plan is save $ and just get my own apartment and stay with my daily Camry. Feel free to advise!

Im not 100% sure but i think they can tell if they decide to plug into the obd2 port for whatever reason. but still they cant turn it away for warranty work etc unless that's the reason for whatever fault your looking to fix.
