I’m only 18 years old. The first tournament I remember watching Italy play in was the 2010 World Cup, which was a disaster. Then, in 2012, I saw them make the Euro Final before getting crush by Spain. Needless to say, I was crushed as well. In 2014, I was devastated when we lost to Uruguay in the final 10 minutes right after Suarez bit Chiellini and got away with it. In 2016, I was heartbroken when we lost to Germany for the very first time in a penalty shootout. It got to a low point when we lost to Sweden and failed to even qualify for the World Cup in 2018. I may be young, but I’ve already seen a little bit of everything. This is my first time watching Italy win a major tournament, and I’ll tell you: it’s unlike any other feeling. I hope to feel it again very soon. Thank you Mancini, you made Italy great again. Forza Azzurri 🇮🇹🇮🇹🇮🇹🇮🇹

I am 57 and saw us win 2 world cups in 1982 and 2006 and lost 2 world cup finals to Brazil in 1970 and 1994 and won 2 European championships in 1968 and 2020 and lost 2 European championship finals in 2000 and 2012. Ignore defeat and always be graceful when we lose but enjoy the great moments. Sport is to be enjoyed and not taken seriously as your family and health is more important than anything else.

Sign of a mature player when they clap the opposition. Always put your personal feelings to one side. Like when Ronaldo scored that bicycle kick against us and we Juventus fans clapped the genius and he later joined us.

When you're old enough to have suffered through the heartbreaking world cup losses of 1990, 1994, 1998 and 2002 and experienced the 2006 wc championship. This euro title is just icing on the cake 15 years later 😊🇮🇹⚽️
