First ever - Best approximation of Drums in Guitar Hero II

So, information about this. These gems are found within the track.milo_ps2 file in the OPM (Official PlayStation Magazine) Demo Disc. No actual Drum track is playable as far as we are aware. I was able to port over the actual gem models and meshes themselves over to the retail (Actually GHIIDX) track milo, in a way where I can select them via track_graphics.dta. Next up I brought over a Rock Band Mid, and copied the drum notes to the guitar track. There is no logic for "Pro Drums" I simply mad a couple lanes toms, and a couple lanes cymbals. The green "fret" is the kick gem.
Again I must stress, this is not the OFFICIAL drums in GHII. this is the best we can do with our knowledge at this time. We would love to crack true drum support in the game, but it is currently not able to be done.

If this leads to actual drums, or even open notes and taps, I'm deleting clone hero.
We basically have an open note gem they just need to recolor it to purple for the strummed one and white for the HOPO

Hey! I use a modded ps2 & have gh2 deluxe+ a rockband drumset like you. Could you by chance make a tutorial on how to setup the drums for deluxe? Im having trouble tryna get the drums to work with deluxe. I love the videos & mods!! Please continue making these🥺😎

I noticed Bass was still selectible in-game. Does that mean that theoretically one could replace the Bass chart with a drums chart, and have it so that both Guitar and Drums were playable?
So, not really, because the bass track would use the drum gems

When it comes to the devs that made this happen. They still could not find a work around for the Wired In Guitar. Still cant play this with a guitar with a dongle on console, I have this installed in my Jailbroken PS3 Backwards Compatible Fat. They have come far in this project but lets hope they can make it so you can use guitars besides PS2 Only Guitars
Imagine getting a free mod from people that poured all the effort they could into it. Then bitching to one of the people that made the mod that they didn’t do something that wasn’t even within the scope of the project.
Imagine being so entitled that you make a paragraph long comment on my video that this free mod for the ps2 doesn’t work properly with usb instruments.
