the jam still hits and Dawn Robinson killed the hook🔥🔥🙌🏾🇰🇪🇰🇪❤2023
Foxy =Beautiful and Chocolate.. Get em Fox!
Check how pure their smiles are... Having a ball in their youthfulness... I miss these days... 22 in 97
so happy u said that.cause i was thinking the same.u don't see that this days.
I was ten, and I miss those days lol music doesn't hit like it did. It's the closest we have to good memories of our past.
AZ is one of smoothest and nicest to ever do it.
Seeing Nas & AZ wrestle is hilarious 😆. You could tell they were super cool.
Dawn Robinson was a dime piece!!!
No she ain't...she got da surgery shit going on all on her face ....that's a big no-no on any chick
NOTHING BETTER THAN CHIPPED TOOTH OLDSKOOL ESCOBAR NAS.. 🎤 🎧 🎹 🎺 🎷 🎸
Took a trip to the dentist one day, his rap game ain't been the same since 🤣 jk
I always had a crush on AZ he's so handsome 😍
The Firm's videos were so cinematic. They told so many stories.
this was directed by hype Williams got the directors cut its a different version
Nas and Az the finest rap duo ever
Big pun and fat joe, dre 3000 and big boi, mobb deep, eric B and Rakim, etc are better duos
NaS is good on his own tbh
fiy figo she meant looks wise...and they are the FINEST duo ever. Goodness gracious 😍
Damn, I wish this crew made a few more albums they were so underrated. Nas and AZ are two of my favorites of all time!
They weren't underrated. They were some of the biggest hip-hop acts of their day. Dre was a horrible choice for handling majority of production.
If you had bought the album and they had gone like triple platinum, I am sure they would have gone on to make another album.
Unfortunately it was a big budget album that didn't do well commercially.
Their album just didnt sell and honestly, Dre was not the right guy to produce this group....Dre's production has always been on point, but he was not a good fit for this group.
This album had so much promise.... I’m still pissed it didn’t blow up like it should’ve!
The album did great. The group fell apart. Everybody wanyed the Firm to keep going.
Its my life, I'm holding the dice, don't intervene. 🔥🔥🎲🎲
I love AZ always have since the 90s ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
AZ really should’ve been bigger. He was so nice!
Az should've been a global superstar. He's a really great rapper. Too bad he never became huge
he whould have just been anotheer rapper probably have to compromise
+Jonathan Phillips That's true, Nas's recent stuff has been garbage but sold well.
Never knew Dawn from En Vogue did this hook. She was always a beast. Love the remix to this too.
They ate this Teena Marie sample up
The firm was a underrated group i miss dem days
Foxy was so under rated & DAMN FINE....
1997 WAS A GREAT YEAR FOR HIP HOP..
This Trio is undefeated still to this day
I love this song 🎵 AZ and Nas and foxy w/ Dawn put out a classic hit. Shout out to Rick James and teena Marie
AZ was tht dude. This sht still knocks 🔥🔥🔥🔥
Everybody held it down but FOX & A.Z killed this
I think Nas is a time traveler, still look the same
...And then they (Asians) look 40 when they turn 28 (all wrinkled w/sagging skin) just like whites & lighter-skinned Latinos do. The fact remains that NO race of people ages better than blacks thanks to the high amounts of melanin we have.
Being a 80s baby New Yorker (83') I still get so much nostalgia from watching this video, and I feel good every time I hear this song. Nas and Az was the flyest in hip hop, and the nicest 💪🏾
DAMNN cant believe how fast 23 years flew by, seemed like yesterday this came out, Foxxy, Nas, AZ, also LL Cool J, Gangstarr, Jay Z, Puffy, Mase to name a few were killing it!
This is actually a epic song
Most slept on album & that fight scene was hilarious
Extremely underrated song and video. Been listening for 20 years.
@@redemtuscharles4040 Nas, Pac, Jay-Z, Mobb Deep... Best year of hip-hop, for sure.
1997 was awesome for music...
I was in 9th grade then, BET was still playing music video nearly 24/7, MTV was playing music videos even in the middle of the night, TV was still good, music, and the fashion like the one post said especially with the men...loose pants and the Timbs.
@@TinchoMK1 Biggie released Life After Death that year though which is a really good album.
The illest duo, since the Boss name was Hugo! #bars 🔥
Old school still forever a legend.
2024 Anyone 🎵🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
I loved the album, still listen to it in 2023. It’s a shame The Firm flopped so hard, it had so much potential. At least we got a bangin’ album out of it.
Little known fact, 50 Cent was almost a part of this crew. Woulda been nuts!
@@descartes_8696probably so if so he was right .. em is the best selling hip hop artist of all time
To be a teen again during this time. So much good music.
Foxy is that chic tho
Brings me back to my 17 age 97-98!
@@keyonbryant1385 Still a kid but good, because you began to listen real soul n hip hop
@@Phillygoat1983 me 2 😍 that was the first and only time I've been 2 the US
All these Bjack Queens 😘🥰🥰🥰no silicone in sight. Early 90s and late 90s are missed dearly.
I used to love this record(still do), 1997, I was 19 in 1997. Now I realize how young I was back then.
The Firm Foxy Brown is so beautiful classic album
This is the best duo ever. Lyrically style flow and looks these two had the whole package.
No body could touch them together
@@SaraShakur94 when u calculate all that they had together no way. I’m talking about total package
this group was amazing
That AZ/NAS fight always cracks me up.
nas and az combination was a force2reckon with
JOHANES AMBROSE Ochieng what dou would pick Nas and Sosa, Big and Jay , or Rae and Ghost
50 Years of Dope Beats & Rhymes 🎤🔥
Foxy Brown's flow is not only outshining, it is historically one of the top five rap verses of all time.
Who's here for 2020 this a classical song, so much class don't hear music like this no more
The word swag back in the days was so misrepresented. You want define Swag? Well here it is! AZ andNAS hella swag!
Y’all can’t Name one song Foxy Brown didn’t body. She held her own on every track with ALL the top Male Rappers in Hip hop history ! #Iconic
Every track she's been on she held her own even though she had writers
Yes Dawn from En Vogue. Like Dawn says "used to have a crush on Dawn from En Vogue." Foxy Brown was deelish too!!!
+vizzel1000 #Phife
Treach called out her beauty and the crush he had on her back 'n tha day in an interview too.
He said “ Son, it’s all kinda shit you gonna go thru. Either you gonna make it or you gonna fall too!” Dopest line in the entire track!)-J§💨
The music, the Artists, the video all equate to a masterpiece from the Firm!. Timeless music and Artists. Az and Foxy brown underated for life.
#1 album in the country, 1 #hip hop album, platinum album /w dre, trackmasters. "Failed" but was a good look for each artist. Good timea, sold over a million
This Album is a prime example of A&R’s without a damn clue knowing what to do with this much talent ! Dre Nas AZ Foxy Brown are you kidding me this was definitely a label flip nothing to do with the artists !
Nas said the problem was too many people had their hands in the pot with the project. He was signed to Columbia records, Foxy with DefJam, AZ with EMI. Dre had Interscope behind him. Plus the TrackMasters were involved. And everybody wanted things done a certain way. Too many heads colliding.
Feeling Nostalgic. Who is here 2021? One of the Best Duo ever
Foxy's flow is CRAZY - Nas & AZ killed it too, This is the original version where Fox gets out of the money!
Is it just me, or did almost every rap video in the late 90's feature a Benz rollin' on chrome AMG's??
Every New York rap Video at this time. West Coast had Impalas or Cadillacs on Daytons with Hydraulics.
I always liked the videos from the 90s when they'd roll all over ny in their cars. Idk it just looked so gangsta. I miss the 90s. Mtv jams at 7 am getting ready for school. Had the grind to watch at 7 and jams at 730. It was so dope.
Love this type of sound back in the day and boy oh boy Foxy was 🔥🔥🔥🔥. Ain't heard this joint in so long, it sounds similar to Jay-Z Sunshine
So so so underrated was The Firm honestly I messes with Firm over Many of the groups that were there
I liked AZ back in the 90s remember seeing he's videos on TV
If Dawn had this level of confidence outside of performing, she would be bigger
This is a Classic Joint right here, everybody did the Damn thang YAAAAS :-) my era of music can't be touched:-)! The Firm Baby :-)
60" inch screen, laser disc with the beam / it's my life I'm holding the dice, don't intervene.... AZ
That is still a hard ass line to me. And what made me really want to get my vocabulary skills up. In both language or rapping to be honest. I remember after hearing that line I looked up the word "intervene." Then, realized that you have to be clever with your word play if you want to be impeccable in this rap game.
Ya'll got to feel me because, I'm a South Florida nigga that doesn't really like dumb down rap. I also, remember listening to Jay-Z Reasonable Doubt at my cousin's house. I was astounded how New York niggas had such a broad mind.
Profound statement this was the era where you had to be sharp I can remember writing my raps in the library just so I had shit at hand late 98 to 99
That's is simply cause brothers was already god body and very Sharp with the lessons which carries over to regular conversation. From the regular conversation comes your bars if you Sharp
AZ is severely underrated
After hearing Kings disease full circle track the firm is back🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Real movies heads know the part when Nas and AZ are fighting is from 'Reservoir Dogs' #Classic
Still a Underrated album... The subject matter went over people's head.
This song would still get the 30 N Up clubs rocking
This is the kind of music that I would pay money to listen and watch to.
Best underrated duo ever AZ should have been the big guns in the industry
Dawn interviews brought me here and lawdd legends in this music video sooo iconic but dawn is gorgeous and the choreography smoothhhh
I think u and I are just die hard EnVogue fans. Dawn and Max was definitely my favorite. U know EnVogue was known for making remixes. This would've went straight to number one with Dawn on lead
AZ got that smooth flow!!
Look at Dawn from En Vogue...she can sing!!!
Duh..............................!!!!!!!!! Dawn's voice may not have made the group but them 3 women ( Terri, Cindy & that bitch from Jamie Foxx are not En Vogue!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!) calling themselves En Vogue CAN'T SING WITH THE SAME 4 PART HARMONY W/O DAWN!!!!!!!! They tried before Max left and did not sound right at all!!!
Lucy Pearl.............................SAME THING!!!!!!!! Dawn is cold with the vocals, check out her solo CD Dawn Robinson.................Dawn
This is a classic right here!
Love to see AZ hype 😂🤣😂🤣😂
This man AZ definitely woulda been a wonderful actor if da rite managers were n place back then.. not 2 mention all dat impeccable playa swag n timing wit da expressions 2 match..well dun OG💯👌🏾
Teena Marie ...RIP
"Square Biz" sample from the great/late Lady T (Teena Marie).
Aww Foxy Brown
Teena Marie's Square Biz is still a great song.
Az most underrated Mc ever
❤the firm wasn't nothing but the truth, bring'em back
AZ was so fine
I had this on tape in middle school. Classic!
Who's here in 2024
👋
Only the realest hip hop fans
Never left 🔥🔥🔥
I’m sad for the folks that missed this, and never mind Tina Marie’s original…trust me I love Dawn, but TEENA MARIE is, was, and currently reigns supreme as the one who wore it best….
I am. 💃💃💃
