Then turn of ignition and do brake job. That's it. P. S for eu cars cilinder pasanger side turn to the right, driver side turn to the left. After brake job press pedal brake pedal a few time, start engine, engage parking by pressing for 5 sec, now it's in auto mode, and you done.

    When you say don't follow me on this step. Do you mean don't disconnect the epb? Why leave the ignition on. My epb never auto engages itself, I assume it's in manual mode. Apparently, you can hold the epb button down for 10 seconds to toggle in and out of auto manual mode.

    Danke für den Tipp , wie man die elektrische Bremse löst , um die tauschen zu können , der Rest ist aber nicht zufriedenstellend :( , sorry , aber neue Beläge an die alte Bremsscheiben ?! wenn ,dann zumindest die Ränder der Scheibe bearbeiten , was aber auch Pfusch ist , entweder sauber planen oder , was auch das sinnvollste ist -tauschen , die kosten heute nicht die Welt , denn wie man sieht , es wurden keine Originalteile verbaut . Den Halter vom Bremssatel abzunehmen um ordentlich sauber zu machen, wegen den Führungen von Bremsklötzen und auftragen von Bremspaste , dauert vielleicht 5 Minuten , auch nicht gemacht . Wie gesagt , danke für den Tipp ...

    I haven't yet service back calipers, but I wonder why you didn't sett EPB to service mode like in this video. czcams.com/video/-Y1U8Iw88iA/video.html
    I have read that then ignition is on after 15 min you can get caliper piston right in your head, because of car computer constantly watches after pressure in caliper and if it is not in service mode you can have some problems...

    • @mikejensen4899
      @mikejensen4899 Před 2 lety +1

      Its not the same system. This model is not with the motor on the caliber. On this model you just pull the release for 10sec, og the auto is off.

    • @viking236
      @viking236 Před 2 lety

      @@mikejensen4899 so basically first you release brake to service mode or manual mode, then you take clips and do the job after that you pump brakes and engage epb for 5 sec. Because in this video you suggest to release brakes and do the job., The problem after the job could be that actuator dosent recognize new pads because they are bigger in size than the old ones and basically you get message check your brakes... ? That's why it's always first must be apply to service mode 10 sec push in and after job 5 sec to release to adopte actuator to new pads?

      It's completely fine to do that. CZcams is filled with german brake replacement tutorials. Of course you have to be careful when working on a car. But no law prevent you from servicing your own vehicle.
