    With the resonator delete, have you had any concerns regarding droning, especially at motorway speeds?

    • @adamenglander
      @adamenglander  Před rokem +1

      Nah it doesn't bother me at all. Maybe a tiny bit around 3-4k rpm but it really isn't an issue in my opinion.

    thinking of getting the vps res delete kit, is the sound noticeably louder? i like the initial cold start on the car but then after that it quiets down quite a bit

    • @adamenglander
      @adamenglander  Před rokem +2

      Yes car is for sure louder and sounds much more aggressive when driving. For the money, it’s hard to beat.

    are the resonaotrs on this car the mid muffler ? or the ones closest to the tips? also if u take off the mufflers closest to tips will u effect the active exhaust

    • @adamenglander
      @adamenglander  Před rokem

      Mid pipes yes, I don’t recommend removing the muffler that will give you serious drone.

    What do you think about those OEM Audi Sound Enhancing Resonator Kit? It's about $1000, but I keep seeing everyone doing resonater deletes. I am confused about it.

    • @adamenglander
      @adamenglander  Před rokem +1

      I say pass on the OEM kit from Audi and go with the resonator delete for a fraction of the cost. Looking on the Audi forums it seems like some people have got the kit and not noticed much of a difference. With the resonator delete I noticed a big difference right away and only spent a few hundred bucks.

      @@adamenglander Thanks, so is the kit I mentioned just a different set of resonaters from the factory?
      The resonater delete, is that a specific kit from a performance company or just having a muffler shop cut them out of your setup?

    • @adamenglander
      @adamenglander  Před rokem +1

      @@pgmallon not totally sure as far as the kit but for my res delete the shop cut out the resonators. You can also purchase a kit from VPS. The audi forums have a bit more info as well if that helps!

      no rubbing or anything with the spacers? i have the spacer but still apprehensive about getting lowering springs aswell but i love ur fitment and really want them

    • @adamenglander
      @adamenglander  Před rokem +1

      @@taco_yunior I am not really concerned with long term as my car is only at 40k and will most likely upgrade those parts at some point in the future. There is always some risk but pretty minimal in my opinion. Had it done at a shop, don't remember exactly but around 1k plus you have to get an alignment.
      No rubbing at all! Springs made some noise at first but after a month or so settled and now I don't notice a thing. Springs + spacers is for sure the move if you want the sexy stance ;)
