Hi. Hey, thank you for the amazing video. It was super helpful. My wife's phone felt and the screen got damage. The phone worked but it could not display anything and she have several applications needed for her work on it. She never set up the fingerprint option so the data could not be transfer to the new one. After seem you video I go a screen replacement and fixed. Now, we will work on setting the backup.. Coupon code doesn't work anymore, but thank you for the great video. I can't seem to get the screen off with my current tools. However was able to get the back plate off and disconnect the screen to see if the phone is still working. Thank you for the easy to follow guide, hopefully this will work when I get the screen in.

I just checked the link you provided and I didn't see any frames or anything only the digitizer screen and that's it other than small parts like the camera the vibration motor etc.

Is that T 7000 really good for adhering the Lcd digitizer to the frame without using any double sided tape? Have you had any issues with it coming apart afterwards?

When is it necessary to replace the LCD display? can I only replace the glass?
Could I send mine to you for repair? I have another one now same one lg v40 but I'd love to have the other one working again. What's wrong with mine is the bottom half of the screen doesn't work so if somebody calls me I can't pick up or I can't type on the keyboard.
I paid only 10 bucks less for my ebay digitizer than whats on the link you provide. The problem with the link is that there are several different versions of the V40 and V50. The older V40 and the North American V50 are compatible. The North American V50 model is actually a V45. And the real V50(like i have. Actually bought it from Korea and had fun changing it from korean to english) model that is an LMV500N is not compatible with most of the V40 model screens. I think the newer V40s work with the V50s. But the link doesnt say what models their screens work for. So, worst case scenario, ill stick with my ebay screen that is compatible and maybe replace it when it goes out(if it goes out). If i have to replace it then ill find a legit lg screen replacement.

With frame harder to do more stuff to transfer but they’re more expensive. The pros are if your frame is bent it’s good to replace it. If not I would just stick with the screen unless screen and frame is significantly cheaper.
I would like to buy the part if you cannot do it for me, I've tried to replace screens before and it was a total disaster. I'm just scared I'm going to screw something up and make it even worse I paid way too much for this phone. Like I said I have another one now but I would really like if I could have both of them in working condition 😁

He has just never fixed this specific model I don't think. If he didn't fix anything I seriously doubt he would have been able to make this video. And to be fair 90% of these LG phone use the fingerprint sensor as a power button too.
This phone has the weakest screen ive ever seen. Broke 5 of them in 2 weeks. Took me 8 months to break the v60 screen in the same conditions.
