This Milwaukee Tool 1" Impact Wrench seems to hit harder than a comparable 1" D-Handle Pneumatic Impact Wrench. After the nut is loose, the Milwaukee might remove the lug a touch slower, but the speed is pretty close. Being able to move around freely without an air hose is amazing. When working on large trucks, there is already enough in the way. Not being caught with a hose between tires or around a corner is an amazing feeling when coupled with the confidence that the battery-operated tool has the same performance as the air-powered tool.
Battery life on this large of a tool is amazing if you use the 12Ah HD battery. We completed a voltage test and found you could use this large impact wrench with a 6Ah or 8Ah battery, but you will lose a bit of power and significant runtime when doing so.
The price of this new large impact wrench is great when compared to high-end air impacts. Battery power is getting better and better all the time!

I could see this being very popular with dirt modified, late model and sprint car crews. If a shock, axle or wing breaks or tire goes flat there's usually very limited time to replace those parts and get back in the race. This will be a huge time saver.
That is the real deal right there! Milwaukee never disappoint well almost never. But THIS one is the best!
Well this is their 2nd kick at the can with this tool lol
I’m a heavy mobile diesel mechanic the biggest pain is waiting for the air compressor to keep up with removing or installing… my air impact is my last air tool. I want this so bad.
I do the same thing. Air has always been a battle when trying to stay small enough to be mobile enough to get in tough places but still have room for parts and tools. Cold weather always has me fighting to keep air working. Tools like to slow down. With my battery tools I can simply put the batteries in the cab to warm up on the way. Enclosed compressors help in cold weather but it's not perfect and needing to wait for psi really sucks. Only way with air to replace a fast compressor is to have volume but then you loose free space for drums or tires etc
Great video you really put that gun work best video that I seen actually going through the test
The catch is in the KEY namely ONE-KEY. From being just a phenomenal Impact Wrench it turned it into the super smart and highly efficient BEAST by just turning ONE-KEY. Now one can control the torque and battery, performance, and whole 9 yards... I love it I think every FUEL must have ONE-KEY.
Upgraded from an older 18v kit. czcams.com/users/postUgkxW1vOBRCMrgTCDEijzpVzDWsgI-Jm2iQv I independently chose the drill and impact tool, before I came across the kit.I like the 3 speed impact gun. It seems more powerful than my older one, and it can be set to be really gentle. The drill is more appropriately sized for my use. I used to have a hammer drill, but I did not like that it was so big and it was not a great hammer drill. I rather have a smaller drill like this, and then get a corded hammer drill for the odd case I need that.
Your tool reviews, I feel, have always been better than most but now with your battery voltage/best matched battery you have upped your game and I feel others will have to follow or get left behind.....not easy to do so congrats.
Thank you, but I feel left behind. I cannot do what @TorqueTestChannel does. There are so many doing great things. I just try to do the real world stuff and add in what I can. Thanks again for watching and for the compliment.
That's a big boy! I almost wish I worked with large trucks to get one of them! :D
Absolute beast. Milwaukee definitely dominates the impact driver market.
TTC already did a video on this. The Ingersoll And Rand 1 in d handle SMOKED it.
That's like comparing getting shot in the head by a DE .50 vs a S&W .500.....one is more powerful, but you're dead either way.
Wow... that definitely is a monster Brian
Yes it is. LOL. Where have I heard that before?

I could see this being very popular with deck builders using adapter to drive 1 1/4” deck screws
When I read this I missed the 1 in front of the 1-1/4"..... I thought you said it would be popular with an adapter for 1/4" screws. LOL. I was thinking this was trolling at its finest.
@@WorkshopAddict it is trolling hahahaha I am making a joke about how people always comment “I could see this being used by X professional to accomplish Y task” on every tool video. The joke is that I could see this being used to drive small inch and a quarter long deck screws using an adapter
Good roofing gun also!
Thanks for the review…I hope you know you need to install longer wheel studs when you swap to aluminum wheels
663s are excellent tires! 👌🤙
Did it take Milwaukee this long to release the long anvil? I thought I saw multiple people using the long anvil version over a year ago. Test models?
Type of tool so badass you name it
This would be great for breaking an axle nut for when I gotta change my Silverado bearings every 65k miles
Alternatively, the Durofix 60V Jumbo 1" Cordless Impact Wrench RI60176E & RI60176 $1300 & $1200 respectively as a kit - batteries and charger included. 50% more torque.
Am I able to adjust custom torque settings? I can change the RPM but not the torque
Fixing to find out how good it is.
Damn that's nice
And to think, the makita xgt 3/4” bests this beast in reverse (which matters most).
Nice tool. But in my experience with 1/ 2 in and 3/4 versions, the battery locking mechanism wears down quickly, and the battery starts wobbling in there, losing contact and cutting off power to the tool. Especially that super heavy 12ah battery. Good for occasional use or whenever air is not available.
I've had the 3/4 for over a year now pulled lots of nuts with but it's slower than an air gun and my contact points come loose on just the 5amp battery's now so now looking to replace or get serviced
What settings do you use when putting on the lug nuts?
I have to get one and finally retire my 1 inch air
Do you think that torque is enough for tractor truck ???
"Is this good enough for rotating the tires on my car?" 😂
It is what all the Dealerships use to put the lugs on. :)
can i replace the anvil for a longer?
Excuse me sir, I have this tool and I want to torque something to near 700 ft.lbs. What RPM setting would you say I neeed? It is a 2 ¾ yoke nut on my transmission. I've been searching on the internet but just haven't found a table or chart to go by. And all I see on my app is an RPM range to choose from but no torque. I greatly appreciate any help.
Impact guns should not be used for torqueibg bolts. That is why you can not find it. If you are using this, run it on high for about 10 seconds' worth of impacting.
@@WorkshopAddict thanks for the reply
👍👍👍👍👍
Yeah that’s cool but my pistol grip 1 inch drive harbor freight impact was like 115 bucks seven years ago and with the right air holes it would outperform that Milwaukee
All shits and giggles until you are in the middle of nowhere with no compressor but I agree air still beats battery in the shop environment
Hey bud well maybe if I could borrow 1500 from you I would get one of those
@@falkirk8413 I totally agree with you with the air compressor thing, I carry a battery charger for my batteries so if I run into a emergency I have my juice plus my cordless tools, air tools are great! Cordless tools are game changers. To to swap a tire on the road is have to charge my air compressor vs just plugging my battery!
Saya orang Indonesia, pengen beli alat ini gimana cara nya
How many pounds it can make?
Can you loose a semi truck bolt?
Bro... this thing is 2000 ftlb.. it will destroy the tread
I swore I wasn't gonna buy one of these tools, all three of my compressors are down, so I ordered one impact driver #2868, it's actually gonna get here way before the parts for any of the compressors, and so I went down to the pawn shop and told my buddy about it, he says you are one lucky MF, look what just got released from the loan dept. 2 milwaukee 12 ah batteries and the charger is right over there, all for the low low price of $200, hey I checked, you can't get lower than this, the cosmic planets are lining up for me or it's just a f#$%@n coincidence hahahahahahahaha
Aw man after seeing the Ingersoll Rand this thing looks like a damn toy lmao
I want one and I don't have a use for it.
I bought one when I worked on school busses. I switch to automotive and now mine just sits In my box haha.
Wonder how long the anvils will last this time lol
Well, Lets just say that this one got more than just a voltage test while locked into the vise. I have it all I could for a long time.
I think it should last longer than the newest Snap on half inch MONSTER LITHIUM impact that repeatedly failed right out of the box
I won't buy another Snap on cordless again
@@captainawesome2750 New gun fixed all that and came with more power and everything

Just imagine this with a 15.0 ah battery that doesn’t even exist yet?
More weight. :) But it might reduce an Uga on a hard pull.
Actually 15.0 battery is possible just by replacing the cells with a 3p 5s battery.
Quiero una de esas me puedes regalar una
Unless your building bridges you don't need 2000 foot pounds.
Or you work on CAT machines.
I don’t see the purpose for this. I’ve never worked on a truck where I didn’t have air. Am I missing something??
We love this for repairs when we are in the field. We no longer need a huge gas air compressor on our service trucks.
Been in the Mobile tire industry this would be so helpful at job-sites.

This tool came out a year ago, why are you reviewing it.
That was not this one, with the extended shaft.
