- I think she's constipated or gassy đ She is not just bored; she makes this noise all the time throughout the day and makes faces that look uncomfortable.
***Update Jan 2023, daughter now 3 years old... we recently found out our daughter has a moderate dairy allergy and mild egg allergy after doing an allergy blood test. I always suspected she had some unusual stomach issues but people always told me I was reading into things and overacting. To find this out years later made me so sad. I wish I had followed my instincts and gotten answers back then (I probably would have cut out dairy from my diet since she was breast fed). My baby didn't just have colic; she probably had tummy pain and
I believe this grunting and growling were some symptoms of that (in addition to the full fledged shrieking cries). Now, as a newly 3 year old, we are trying to figure out how to manage her chronic cough and chronic congestion that is currently how her allergy presents itself. I will add, we also found out some time after this video that she also had silent reflux which might have caused some of this grunting and growling.
A part of me thinks its not always constipation especially if the baby is on breastmilk or formula only. My son does this but my gut tells me he just wants to sit up, or rollover or do things he cant quite do yet. Hes 4 months. Most of his straining comes when hes laying down or on his back and when I watch him he seems to want to do things he cant quite yet hence why he strains.
âBaby grunting and growling constipatedâ thirteen-thousand people: *interesting*
I looked up baby grunting and 5 signs of autism popped up scared the shit out of me
My baby has been clenching fist and grunting amd same shit popped up now my anxiety is through the roof! Google will mind fuck you.
Me too đ€Łđ€Ł
Literally me too and itâs like itâs inevitable to google this topic without getting told ur child may be autistic
My daughter is always constipated and grunting all day and night. I cannot stand it anymore. I tried every natural remedy and every medication to help, but does nothing. She just grunts and pushes all day long. I now sleep in separate rooms because I cannot sleep with her ridiculous grunts. I know its normal for parent to be sleepless, but not ZERO sleep, she is free to grunt in her own bedroom all she wants....
How is baby
I could help
Why am I laughing so hard right now đđđ
Babies grunt a lot . Especially when theyâre newborns . Itâs normal .
my baby is turning 3month old and does this too but he cries a lot . is it normal?
My baby keeps doing that, she's 6 month old and keeps trying to poop all the time. Few times a day i help her with massage etc. but she poops only once or twice per day. And even after she poops, she probably isn't empty, because she starts straining again after half a minute. Her poop is not hard. Toys or whatever just doesn't distract her. She can get really frustrating, i am mostly carrying her around so she doesn't overstress herself. And when she has to sleep we walk with her up and down for half an hour...sometimes we have to take a ride in the car...It's terrible. I am afraid she will get hemorroids...she eats only around 700ml of breastmilk per day, but she should consume 1000ml.
How is she now?my baby also doing d same thing.he is 4 month old.
@@poovizhikannan4484 at 8 months she doesn't strain that much. Or if she does, it's overtiredness, when i put her on changing table i soon see if she will actually have a poop or not and if she strains too much and i think she will not be able to poop, i pick her up and calm her. She also tells me if she doesn't want the massage. Now i do it once per day. Also i give her water throughout the day many times
Apparently, they can do this grunting thing when pushing waste to the point of elimination, but then also clenching rather than relaxing rectal muscles, so they are working against their own bodies, since they donât know how to use them. Look up grunting baby syndrome. They often will eliminate, but they work against the process, until they learn to coordinate things. Itâs not uncommon, and not a cause for alarmâŠ
My baby has also strted doing the same. Today early morning while getting up from sleep she was doing this and i got soo worried. I googled and google showed me sooo dangerous things that i cant even imagine.
Is this behaviour of babies normal?

My son does this and his face turns red it is pretty scary to me because Iâve been reading that it could be due to breathing issues but it seems like other mamas babys do this.. im just hoping its normal
My son does this too but I always thought it was related to gas.. After my son did this he had a poopy diaper.
Is your baby still grunting ? My baby does the same but not the time of pooping , he does that effortlessly but he grunts whenever he doesnât like something, I am not sure whatâs the problem ?
@@chaitanyanerkar6171 i have the exact same thing with my son (6 months old) Grunting, turning a little bit red but no pooping. Im going to call the doctor just to be sure and see what he says. Ill post it here but I advise to do the same just to be sure mate.
@@Jizzajaap my baby was on medication as he had silent reflux , but we stopped his medicine now but still he grunts, not sure if itâs a behavioural thing or reflux has rebounded but he doesnât cry ? I feel itâs because of irritation , boredom ? We are going to see paediatrician soon and gonna try homeopathy as well.
@@chaitanyanerkar6171 how's your baby doing now, mine has also started making these noises after he has recovered from viral.
Its shitting
