- Since Marti Pellow gave this interview (on 18 June 2012), his role in The War Of The Worlds has been changed - he will now be singing 'The Sung Thoughts of The Journalist' which means that he will be singing 'Forever Autumn' (which was previously by Justin Hayward on the 1978 The War Of The Worlds concept album and sung live by him on Jeff Wayne's Musical Version of The War of the Worlds tours in 2006, 2007, 2009 and 2010, and is by Gary Barlow on the current 2012 The War Of The Worlds album).
An interview with Marti Pellow about Wet Wet Wet's forthcoming 25th anniversary concert at Glasgow Green, Marti's role as the narrator in the current Blood Brothers UK tour and his role as The Voice of Humanity in the forthcoming production of The War Of The Worlds
This guys a ledge. Met him when he came into my work. We stuck up a sort of debate... Ben and jerrys or Haagen daz? Well played pellow!
Was good to watch it again!
I love that some artists still keep their original accents :-)
cant wait!bring it on..
Many thanks, again;)))
It is a great show...I've seen Marti in it a few times. ;)
Love all of these songs. They will live on forever. Marti is so brilliant. Just a lovely person.
Saw him yesterday in Blood Brothers as part of my Drama GCSE course work, now I have to write a 2000 word essay on it :/
I think Marti said in an interview a few years ago that he favoured Ben & Jerry's over Haagen-Dazs and his favourite flavour may have been Lemon Sorbet but I could be wrong about that! ;)
He seems nervous and bit fast 😆😬
Marti should gain a little weight, little cheeks may make him younger...
Funny I liked Susanna better here. Don't like her so much ongmtv
