I love the spirit of the Lomokino and have been enjoying watching what people make with them for years now. But I would love to see a version 2 of this camera with a small AA battery powered motor which would provide a much smoother filming experience over the hand crank. I know there have been some DIY motors created and you even featured one on your blog, but a factory option would be amazing!
Honestly, you guys would probably have the tech to make a semi decent Super 8 camera, maybe even 16mm. But no, here’s 35mm 2-perf at no frames per second.
Lomography is overdue in making a Super 8 camera, it's something that Lomo would do but hasn't done.
Totally agree! I got my hopes up when they offered super8 lomochrome purple. Then they stopped offering motion picture film. :(
This would be great if the shutter wasn’t locked to 1/100th
@@geimzz What does that have to do with anything?
@@VariTimo 1/100th shutter is way too short, especially with a low framerate it ends up looking like a slideshow
1/10th at 5fps would actually look good and it’d be kinda cool on Techniscope
My dreams are coming true, this is a must buy!! Thank you LOOMO!!!
now somebody should 3d print an attachment for BULK rolls of film.
Ever thought about bringing back lomokino handle y'all used to sell? Sure makes using the camera a lot more ergonomically enjoyable.
I like the idea but I’d rather have something to use the 100ft 35mm instead. It would be costly but there’d be a professional market who would be willing to purchase something like that if the price was right vs the crazy cost of renting an arri set.
Tbf lomography makes mostly experimental cameras (like this one). However, I do think a super 8 camera would be within their league. An actual 35mm motion picture camera seems like a bit of a stretch for Lomo.

ah yes, the dumbest way to waste 35mm film
This is bad, This is very very bad, Jesus Christ...
