- Trotting filly Check Me Out etched her name in harness racing's record books with a 1:53.2 mile in her Matron elimination. The mile tied her as the fastest freshman trotter of all time regardless of age.

Hope she pans out better at 3 than the other 2 recent fillies everyone was predicting to win the Hambo, Snow White & Crys Dream. Precocious talent for sure--hope it holds up next year when it counts.

with no place/show betting I believe 2nd choices were all 99-1 never seen that before
I have. The judges do have discretion if a popular horse will, put the pools into negatives. In fact, look up the reace with Jenna's Beach Boy (from this very track) and he was only eligible for purse money (but for the sake of mutuals, he was considered scratched/non-betting).

"The freak of nature" Mission Brief blew out a @.3 at the Red Mile as a two year old October 10th 2014 in the International Stallion Stake. Her two offspring are looking to break that mark. Adirondack is 3 and didn't race at age 2 because of China and Covid-19. Kadena has just ran her second qualifier and looks great. Kadena may break 1:50.3 as a two year old.
