  • This is how you connect your Land Rover vehicle to the internet and share your data.
    Issue a SIM card - Micro SIM card. Not for tablets, but for mobile phones.
    Mobile Data - Set up after inserting the SIM card into the vehicle.
    Hotspot - Share your car's data to other devices.
    Wi-Fi - You can share the data from your smartphone to your vehicle.
    Thank you.

    I have a sim card inserted correctly and it is connected to the network but the car does not recognise it. Can you advise me?

    Hi I've inserted the micro SIM card the wrong way in by mistake and couldn't get it out. How do I remove it?

    • @LandRoverGuidebook
      @LandRoverGuidebook  Před 3 lety

      Sorry. There is only way to force it out.
      The sim card slot is quite inconvenient.
      One of the best ways to do this is to use the corners of your credit card.

      @@LandRoverGuidebook do I force it in to get it out?

    • @LandRoverGuidebook
      @LandRoverGuidebook  Před 3 lety

      Yes, that's right.
      If you press it once as if you are putting it in, it will come out a little with a feeling of entering.

      @@LandRoverGuidebook I've tried it and it wouldn't come out. Wouldn't come out with a little bit of force either.

    Where can I get a SIM card? I have AT&T or do I have to go to the dealership?

    • @LandRoverGuidebook
      @LandRoverGuidebook  Před 4 lety

      Sir Andy Janvier
      Obviously, you have to go to a telecommunication company such as AT&T.
      SIM cards are not handled by dealerships.

    • @SirAndyJanvier
      @SirAndyJanvier Před 4 lety +1

      Land Rover Guidebook AT&T told me they can't give me a Sim Card and Range Rover told me they have the Sim Card and it's 75 dollars. I just wanted to confirm because it didn't sound right

    • @LandRoverGuidebook
      @LandRoverGuidebook  Před 4 lety

      Weird.
      SIM cards are independent of Land Rover.
      In your country, maybe Land Rover and telecommunications companies are working together to sell SIM cards for cars.
      In Korea, a SIM card is issued free of charge to a telecommunication company in addition to the current smartphone plan.

    I'm struggling to get passed from the 3 dots to the 4G sign. Please help!

    • @LandRoverGuidebook
      @LandRoverGuidebook  Před 3 lety

      The reason why the 4g icon does not change is most likely because the device name (code name) is not registered with the telecommunication company.
      Inform the telecommunication company of IMEI from the vehicle's connectivity information.

      Sorry.
      I don't know much about Land Rover vehicles before 2017.
      However, I know that vehicles before 2017 do not have internet connectivity.

    • @LandRoverGuidebook

      Haifa x
      Unfortunately the nano size is so small that there is no way to pull it out.
      Do not use the tool excessively and contact a service center.

    • @LandRoverGuidebook
      @LandRoverGuidebook  Před 2 lety +1

      For 2016 vehicles, internet connection such as Wi-Fi may not be available.
      If you do not see Wi-Fi related items in the connection settings, it is an older model that cannot use the Internet.

    • @LandRoverGuidebook
      @LandRoverGuidebook  Před 2 lety +1

      For models that do not have an internet connection, you must visit a service center to update the software.
