The liberal-NDP government did this. Anytime the government says "its helping" just remember who pays
things like min wage freezes, rent control removed caused this... you can thank a con- dougie least if you are in Ontario. you could afford the food if your rents were lower and you had a living wage. dougie cut the basic income program before it finished so he has zero data he wants to look at for that... that would have brought everyone out of poverty, esp for those on ODSP and OW.
govts btw don't control gas or grocery prices... that's the greedy corps, tho cons do everything for their rich buddies. that's why dougie doesn't want to build affordable houses... its not new that we needed more affordable homes.. he didn't do his job so libs stepped in.
