That price is too high for that and also you are reviewing a speaker and the only thing what we want to hear in details are the sound quality which you have missed, what is the use of knowing all the connection options and dont know how it sounds.
Denon, Marantz and many AVR's have a relay mechanism that makes a clicking sound when the AVR is turned on/off. A relay is still the easiest way to turn a high-power circuit on and off, as it's a physical switch that breaks the circuit. This also prevents the power on/off "thump" through your speakers. On many receivers you'll also get that click when you switch from surround mode to stereo, or between different HDMI inputs. Also, it makes click sound when the volume is turned above 50 while switching from Eco mode to Non-power saving mode when ECO mode kept 'ON' as it runs in full potential mode with no degradation in power and sound quality.
Does the sound quality and volume of any speaker degrade with time.. I have noticed this in my car speakers (infinity) , Bluetooth speakers (UE boom , Devialet) and now also my soundbar (Denon). I listen to music really loud most of the times .. volume more than >80%. Please suggest if this is common and how to take care of these prize-possession speakers
I think the question is got the answer too! Just like when you drive the car to max speed always, it’s going to reduce the efficiency of the engine and other parts causing early maintenance and problems. Same happens with Audio system. Never drive it to the fullest. Use it at optimum levels for drivers to not weaken and the amplification to not become inefficient
Hi Tanmay,I need your valuble suggestion on my Denon 4700H amplifier. My first query is 1)I would like to update my Denon 4700H as i heard that there are some new features available in the updation. Is it safe to do firmware updation 2) what precaution i must take if in case i am doing it.
It’s safe to regularly update your AVR firmware. Only precautions to take while doing so - 1. Stable internet connection (Preferred through Lan connection) 2. Stable Power Supply (AVR should not switch off while updating)
3.5L for this junk doesn’t make any sense. Can install a full fledged mid tier stereo set up with a nice amp and subwoofer which will blow this system away
Absolutely. A wired setup will always be nice. It’s anyways not just competition with that. It’s for those who don’t want to have stereo pair due to floor or space constraints and yet want to achieve the balance!

Thanks in advance

Such a price for a product manufactured in China!
It’s assembled in China but not designed! Same like Apple.
Yer I can afford that on an average wage.
