- We are in one of Midtown's most famous buildings, 432 Park Avenue, with New York-based interior designer Bill McIntosh. His client needed a stylish pied-a-terre in the city but wanted to avoid a complete renovation. See how Bill's subtle decor choices created a smart, stylish, and sophisticated city retreat.

Genius. If I could ever afford it I'd want this guy to design my house. He takes things to the next level and isn't a slave to luxury fashion.
Imagine 720p in 2020
What? 720p aged well
720p is such a good resolution for videos, for games it's kinda blurry tho.
hi is 1048p 4k? or 4k is better?
Absolutely stunning. I've never heard of Bill McIntosh. But now that I have, I will be checking out more of his beautiful work.
2:12 That is a convex mirror, sir.
Well said 👍🏻
wow, omfg!!..432 Park is classic , and his interior design is flawless, I love he added walls and ceilings, all the furniture to make it one of a kind. WOW!!
Nice video, nice delivery. But these pencil-thin towers are a disaster. Creaking, leaking, swaying -- avoid. Look up "432 Park" and "creaking" and educate yourself.
Massive floods and electrical issues in this building. Residents complain of loud creaking noises during high winds. But that is a extraordinary beautiful apartment.
Please do more videos about luxurious skyscraper apartments in the future.
I just saw something about how the building these apartments are in have big structural design flaws? The wind gets so bad that it damaged pipes causing water damage. That's in the apartments and things like the elevator. Paying 41-91 million doesnt seem worth it if I have to walk up 60 floors to my water damaged apartment. Yes it is beautiful but is it worth the potential life threatening risk?
This skyscraper has the most beautiful condos in the world, I fell in love from the first time I saw it, I was always a fan of New York City, I love it. And it makes me very sad to think that I am more likely to be struck by lightning 10 times in a day than to have a chance to live there.
Even it may include, auto swimming pool from time to time.....With all the flooding problems it has, but that’s free!!!! No worries.
Very, very tasteful and nice. I'm not a huge fan of 432 Park Avenue, but this work is simply gorgeous.
It takes a lot to take my breath away, but wow! Beautifully done!
I hear 432 park ave isn't as good as advertised.
It sways like crazy, leaking pipes, and cracked walls due to the swaying is making the value go down.
gorgeous. That apartment would truly be a dream. Thank you for the tour. Have a great week ahead.
MTobin1000 all that money can easily buy you a mansion in Texas I’m from Cali btw
Just amazing! I love the design...
I love the entry of this home it's breathtaking! Also, the home is so nice and bright!
01:54 The guy is shaking when fixing his drink: alcoholic spotted!
Lol
it would be interesting to see how the homes of these designers look!
Nice, but the kitchen ?
Love this. Love how spacious and comfortable it is.
Kinda hard not to
As someone who hates heights, so glad I don't live in a city.
What is the name of that pretty sofa?
01:31 01:36 alpaca covered swivel chairs? 02:55
The alpaca chairs are polar bear by jean royere
Beautiful design, but the house looked like an office or a hotel.
too many patterns, and materials for my taste. i'd like it to be very neutral, given the spectacular views and light you get with the apartment... too many distractions.
you said it best, you brought it back to earth. but why would you? its in the clouds for heaven's sake :)
I wonder if I would have a place for my decorative plate collection.
Are the glass windows unbreakable?
WOW
Amazing job👍🏾
Such a shame that still in 2020, animal products are considered luxury while they should be considered, as they are, selfish, vulgar, tacky and so not this century. Interior designers wake up!
This is not twitter lady stop complaining to everyone. BTW animal products wont stop being luxury.
Wow amazing
im sorry but the man's taste is TACKY and wacky!! luckily for him he found some rich old people that have zero idea wtf they are doing and they've just made him rich.....god bless the USA.
The hidden bar is of course the main dish of everything.. who cares about the rest right? haha. A great bar makes everything right
I'm not a Socialist, but when I see stuff like this, and think about the true state of the world for 99 percent of the population, it does make me think something's wrong.
You should check out the NY Times article about this building. Apparently it is badly made and a nightmare to live in. Something is really wrong.
@@amberfairweather2436 Lets not forget the fact that for 10 - 50 millions those are very bland and commercial looking apartments. Compare that to how the average suburban american house looks...
Yeah, more people should live like this. And there would be less poor people if government got out of the way!
vertiginous ...got it
New York is dying :(
Stunning. This building is a showcase in elegant apartment design, this one is particularly beautiful. Too bad few of them are actually lived in.
I hope the building's repairs and maintenance issues are resolved in the not too distant future. Sting will never buy a unit here....he and Trudie live just a stone's throw away
I dunno man. To me it just looks like repetitive cubes overstuffed with too much busy furniture.
1:02 *very* subtle ...
That Retna piece in the opening is like, meh, but to each his own.
Kelly Behun used the space and the light way better.
*YOU LOOK FORWARD TO SEEING ME SOON?* 🤔🤔
Did he say flood the space !!
Its only saving grace is it is tall and therefore has a nice view. The apt units look mediocre at best.
Not everyone is a millionaire. As much as I’d like to be.
Some very odd looking furniture that will not age well. Beautiful space though.
The architecture of the 432 park avenue is not good it's so thin people are gonna be scared one world trade center is better design
Its looks like a hotel not a luxury apartment....
this looks like the cabin of a private jet. and not in a good way
it is not worth the price they ask, you pay for the views and only for the views, quality is good but materials, distribution, amount of space etc etc don't justify the price, sad to witness the housing bubble is still going on in nyc
1:09 looks horrible
Possibly the worst designed apartment in the building. Such a shame.
Yeah it’s horrible.
Ascaithe even he’s laughing 😆 about it .
Meanwhile millions of people will go to bed hungry tonight...
Stop cutting and changing shots so much!! It was giving me a spin.
The apartaments are a masterpiece but when it comes to the exterior is almost an insult to architecture.
And most of this appartaments are still empty.
They're mostly empty because these homes are mainly pied e terres. In other words, it is not their primary residences. The building is mostly sold out
Not going to happen, K.
Worst building ever
Third
is it just me, or does this make the billionaire's apartment look like a millionaire's apartment. i don't like it. sorry.
Pied-à-terre means small apartment close from the main residence . Please stop using French words to sound more exclusive.
Not close to main residence necessarily. It means some distance from main residence. Usually like a condo or small unit, such as the one in this video.
