What kind of effect could this stitch be used for? I'm new to all this but keen to learn. Your videos are so clear and easy to follow! Thank you! X
This stitch is most commonly used for a bullion knot rose. I've never tried one before, but I want to. They are so pretty! I have only used them in my Frog Prince pattern to make cattails. So glad you are enjoying my tutorials. That makes me so happy to hear!
Cutesy Crafts Thank you for getting back to me. Do you have a tutorial on a bullion knot rose? I shall definately check out the other video you mentioned too. Thanks again. X
I don't have a tutorial for the rose. I still need to learn how to do that one myself. Haha! The Frog Prince hoop is on my blog, but it won't let me leave links in the comments for some reason.
Cutesy Crafts Ahh fair enough. No problem, I'll have a look. Thank you. X
Thank you that you learn💕
Thanku I did it. But it is little bit difficult for me.❤️ From Kerala India

Beautiful work! Can you share the brand and size of milliner's needles, please? Thank you!
I use Tulip brand bullion needles for these. Here's my affiliate link: amzn.to/3sPxCob
What's holding the hoop in place while both hands are working on the knot? Thanks, again! (New subscriber and looking forward to seeing you other vids!)
Here's an affiliate link to the stand I use: amzn.to/2VdAQT1 It's a floor stand, but I took out some of the pieces to shorten it for tabletop use.
how do you make a small bullion not like you have a short subject like sprinkles on a donut
I need help- how to lock
Run your needle under the back of the stitch, leave a loop, put needle through that loop to make a knot.
May i know how did you got your needle out of the thread? That part is so HARD FOR ME😭
Try using a milliner's or bullion needle. The head is the same width as the rest of the needle, so it's easier.
What material are u using?
This is my favorite fabric for embroidery: shrsl.com/2h1v9 They sell it in all kinds of pretty colors. I also have a blog post all about fabric here: cutesycrafts.com/2018/07/best-embroidery-fabric.html
Do you split the thread into strands or use the full floss?
Depends on how thick you want the stitches to be. This is all 6 strands, but I frequently use 3.
@@CutesyCrafts Thank you for the reply
The bouillon knot is NOT my friend 😩 but I will keep practicing.
I still have a hard time. A milliner's needle or needle specifically for bullion knots will help a lot.
Help! I cant pull the needle!
Try wrapping just a little bit looser. I know, it's hard. I struggle with this one sometimes too.
You can also try a different style of needle. They have ones specially made for bullion knots that are the same size around the hole as the rest of the needle.
Hello maam
Great job exposing the stitches.
Can't pull the needle :
Try using a Milliners or Bullion needle.
Not clear
Edited
my schools explaination is SO MUCH harder :/
Why tf do you keep jumpcutting???
