I LOVE the announcers for the game. They NEED to nationally televised games on Network TV.
Listening to the guy, I feel like I am watching an NBA PLAYOFF game. And the lady is working well with the guy, giving great information, and she has a PLEASANT voice.
For real? đ They have definitely increased my appreciation for the Seattle broadcast team, but maybe it's just what a person is used to that makes the difference.

I am so glad to see Sloot back to her old days as the General. Too many scorers and assist players thus her role has downplayed some but she always has great court vision. I love her games much more than CC and hope Sloot continues to be the play maker.

How is it that both the SKY and Liberty have to play again the very NEXT day. Strange schedule.
They have the Olympics break this season so have taken about four weeks of games (includes All-Star break and travel and regroup time for all the players and teams) and shoved them into the rest of the season. Every team has back to backs this season. The W is also conscious of travel expenses of charter flights and motel rooms for players, coaches, trainers, and other staff. It's several thousands of dollars per night for each game on the hotel expenses.

AT has had two injured shoulders the past few years, chose natural healing over time instead of surgery, not sure how far along they are in recovery (my two torn rotator cuffs took a few years) but you can see the unorthodox shot-put style shooting motion AT developed because of the difficulty in lifting the arms above the shoulders. AT's range has been limited by that (and I could not chop wood or bowl for a few years but I probably can now).
Dijonai mustâve been tired today because she under screen so many times , especially knowing Sabrina is a 3 point shooter.
Wow amazing performance by whole New York Liberty this afternoon. Great way rn rebound against the the Indiana fever which is a team full of zoo animals This was a physical and rebounding for losses type of game this afternoon. This was a bounce back game this afternoon. Hopefully they play even better next game knowing that the lost against the zoo animals nicknamed the Indiana Fever. The following player contributed to the scoreboard of the game. Jones with 8 points 11 rebounds and three assists. Sabrina with 21 points 4 rebounds and Courtney with 11 points and 4 rebound. And Breanna Stewart with 18 points and 14 and one rebounds. But few things that have to improve on and the coaching staff can work with them is Jones fouled out the last two games instead of commiting fouls. She is more then capable of drawing fouls herself and getting to the Free through line she belongs in this league and she has and she can prove it every night she belongs on this team. And Sabrina needs to continune have higher shooting percentage than 35 she more than capable of doing it. She recently did it this past liberty game and I definitely believe she can do it. . But this New York Liberty team is an elite and dangerous 3 point team and in the inside the paint team as well. They have skill and the desire to go out to prove it every night. They definitely beaten the Indiana fever several times before dropping one to the zoo animals. They showing this game that know how to rebound against losses against zoo animals..They need to continue focusing on playing team basketball. And not listen to what the commentary are saying during their games every afternoon commentary they to remember that every game they go into after it finished.

The first two of those last points by Reese were legit to ice the game for Chicago. The other two were cheesy but the camp day kids started shouting out Angel's name because they wanted to see her streak continue. If not for that, the shot attempt that led to the free throws probably would not have happened.
For context, I have seen players on the same team before collude at the end of a game to get a teammate one more bucket, assist, or rebound to secure a DD or TD -- it's always cheesy to do that, but the point is, don't assume the prior record holder or the future record breaker did it/will do it without any cheese. I don't know that Parker had any cheese in the prior consecutive DD record, but I think she was involved in a cheese incident I just described.
Is Alyssa Thomas an Olympic player? It doesn't seem like it, today she didn't do anything against an important team. Reese and Clark, currently, are better than her.
