    I own a 2013 ZX14R as we call them in the US. I love my bike and would never sell it. It's fast, comfortable, reliable, has good brakes, reasonably priced, handles well and is styled nice. I don't desire any other bike.

      NitrousNinja I totally agree with you I’ve only had mine 7 years because there nothing better to replace it with. I’ll be doing a few bits to it over the winter so please subscribe to see what I’m doing to it. Keep the rubber side down mate

    Great review ;) Had my gen 2 for over a year now and I don't think anything could make me change. It's a beast! Totally agree on the adjustments too :) I like to tinker occasionally but generally the bike settings stay the same once I've found when works for me.

    Good honest review. How is the buffeting from the wind? I'm looking at buying one to commute 110 miles, mostly motorway. Any thoughts on suitability?

      I did a few junctions on the M1 today and 70mph feels like 30mph! It's so planted and stable. Also the riding position which is perfect for me puts you out of the wind blast.

    i would really love to own one, got a zzr 1200 that i absolutely love at the moment. unfortunately i cant justify getting a 2nd gen zx14r since i would want to keep my 1200 hehe

    Nice review cheers . Just bought a 2010 model in fairness loved the ride unfortunately even though it had 1 owner from new 45000 miles on it full Kawasaki service history. Put her in for a early service just over 2000 miles since I've had her . Rear bairing needs replacing. Fractured front disc so both need replacing plus calipers . Fuel pump shot needs replacing. 3 month warranty or 1000 mile isn't worth the paper it's written on . Dealer I bought it from is supplying 2 new discs so not a complete wipeout. Guess it's just one of those things . Gotta suck it up .

      That’s a shame mate don’t know why dealers do that it just gives them a bad name. You’ll love it when it’s done great bike. Thanks for your comment.

      Yes my friend ime sure I will . Had the zx9 years ago which at the time was quick. This zzr makes that feel slow . I've done around 2000 miles in 2 months as I ride to work Monday to Friday. Like you rightly said just gotta control that throttle. Thanks again bud . Take care 👌

    • @TheJohnsons81
      @TheJohnsons81  Před 3 lety

      I keep my tyres at about 40 psi I think they should be 42. If the pressure drops to about 36 I can tell the difference but I try and check the pressure once a week.
