To know Taka’s background better, you will find it in his Mother. Mori Masako. She is a famous ENKA singer. That is where Taka got his emotional singing from. Listen to Mori Masako sing her songs and you will make the connection between the two.
Mori Masako Sings some of the most emotional songs you ever heard.
Mori Masako has two concerts in particular that Demonstrates this. Watch both concerts to the very end of the videos.
Both concerts are in 1986 at the NHK theatre in Tokyo. They are 2 months apart.
The last concert is Mori’s final goodbye concert. At 28 years old Mori gets married and retired for 20 years to raise a family.
Mori has 3 Son’s. Two of her Son’s have their own bands. The other is the lead singer in his band “My Last Story”
From last year 18 year old are now able to vote in Japan, putting a lot more power and responsibility to the younger generations. Taka wanted to hold this event to strengthen the meaning of being 18 and becoming an adult, to be yourself, and to not let anyone else decide what's right for you.

Actually, they weren't the band fan. Those students were chosen by the TV (NHK) audition to find 1000 students who had a dream in the future.
I think they were the fans. And NHK collaborated with OOR to find 1000 17-19yo teens. The audition was done by OOR. And some teens new OOR was there, and they were gonna sing with OOR
