I wholly agree, though I wouldn't say this is exactly an "ugly" bike either. The outgoing CB design fits better with the Transalp but the new one does match better with both the NC750x as well as stuff from various other manufacturers like the Tenere 700 from Yamaha and the Desert X from Ducati. And there seem to be a bunch of improvements in other areas to this one including that great new TFT display which is a terrific addition on a bike in this mid-size category and matching price range.
That screen is a massive improvement over the CB500X. The 180 degree firing phase of the motor is a deal breaker for me. I think the Honda NX500 will face some stiff competition from the CFMoto 450MT
I'm 5'4 i currently ride the 2023 CB350 comfortably with one foot down. I can put both feet down but cant flatfoot - 800mm seat height. Can i ride this bike? Its 830mm😂 I've heard that once seated it lowers upto 815 - 810. Thanks.
I would suggest getting down to the dealership to sit on one. So many people make this mistake and go by gut instinct or what they read online.... always try before you buy.
Maybe let’s see. It looks like the system may be compatible with a range of models but they will role it out bit by bit and see how popular it is before giving it to all models is my guess
I’m 6ft 3” and I rode it from our workshop to the dealership and it was really comfy. Geometry is basically the same as the old CB500X that this replaces and I used that over weekends and it was perfect for me. Hope that helps.

I had over 10 beemers, some Honda's, this NX I realy want.. Great bike, I would swapp my GS1200 for it.

Being 6'3'" tall how do you experience the angle at your knees in relation to the seat height and the distance to the footpegs? Cramped at all?

Very much considering this bike. Is the windscreen adjustable (with a tool; I don't expect on-the-fly adjustment), or is it entirely fixed?
I am unsure about this new one, but the old 2023 cb500x, wich is what this basically is a new version of, did have tool adjustable windshield.
The Nx500 has a fixed non adjustable screen,
Nice but pity about all the black-out and low Horsepower, compared to the new Transalp, 60 Bhp would proportional out of a new 500cc?
