#colorbondroofing #boxgutter #metalroofing Darren, our roof plumber shows you how to install a sump into a box gutter. www.metalroofingonline.com.au...
It appears your overflow falls under high capacity type design, if this is so the sump needs to be minimum 600mm long X 150mm deep. Also your overflow needs an extension 20mm above sole of box gutter. It also appears the overflow is not located in correct position. Not knocking your work just pointing out how the VBA has instructed us👍
you don't put outlets in center of sump due to vortex and swirl, which reduces the flow through the outlet unless you got in measures to prevent swirl, one of the ways is off centering outlets within sump. good job on the install, from fellow plumber / hydraulic consultant
Nice to see one built. Also from watching Site Inspector, the bottom of it has to be supported.

G'day Mate - always like your videos and I'm not even a plumber...

Have you thought about using clecos instead of temporary rivets?
What's the expected lifespan of that silicone?
