Thanks Paul! I’m a huge Undaunted fan so this was really exciting to finally get a look at it.
Great unboxing! I’m expecting my delivery of all 3 tomorrow. Can’t wait! Disappointed that sleeved cards won’t fit. Publishers should really be taking this into account when designing their boxes and inserts.
It's absolutely ridiculous at this point in the world of board games that these idiots can't account for things like sleeves.
Shame the insert wont fit sleeved cards (as its a deck builder, I sleeves all the relevant cards), TY for the unboxing :-)
Dang, that sucks, cuz I will immediately sleeve this game and ditch the insert.
I don't get why publishers/manufacturers don't automatically make inserts to hold sleeved cards...
I can only guess they are trying to pander to the market that doesn't sleeve but choose to buy a 'fresh' copy of the game once the card's edges are too chipped that the card is recognizable from the back.
@@writeheroics7490 Also, harder to sell second hand copies with worn cards, so more likely to buy a new copy. Might be getting into conspiracy theory territory here, but it's really baffling how this is still a problem.
Ugh this is STILL a thing? I hate my West Africa insert since I can't put sleeved cards in it. Was really hoping this was going to be a compelling storage solution
@@writeheroics7490 generally publishers release for the common market and there the vast majority did not even hear about any sleeves. Some publishers take this into account and here's hopin' more of them will notice and adjust.

Thanks for this. It's been useful in calming my interest, as just 4 four player scenarios is rather light for what was going to be my main interest in this expansion (solo isn't of interest). If there are more fan-made adaptions of earlier scenarios, then I might consider it in the future.
It is actually 8. 4 for each of Normandy / North Africa

Bought a copy of North Africa and pre-ordered Reinforcements (already have Normandy), all for solo play. Should be good

No finger notches to take these tiles out pretty close to make this insert worthless. Its a bit weird because they seem to have it in the other boxes.
Will most likely toss the plastic insert and make my own to fit sleeved cards .
Does this time sleeved cards fit with both games? Or i just get another fat box ?

When will the expansion hit stores
BGG forum posts suggest that the colour of the back of the cards do not match that of the the base games Normandy and North Africa.
Can you confirm this please?
I would also like to hear about this.
Basically, it doesn’t happen on all boxes. It seems the couloirs are different across the printings of Normandy and North Africa. So you may have different colours, I bought my copies as soon as they came out for each set and they are really different. Osprey are offering replacement, though it will be a while, of all cards guaranteeing consistent back colours.
@Alex Theys. Thanks so much for the info. I saw all the replies on Amazon and how pissed off people are. Good to know Ospery Games is making good on the issue. This has honestly one of the best games that I have played (I own over a hundred) and I would hate for people to not buy it over just some different colored cards when there is so much going on with this game.
@@Panamaniac3D to be honest the main draw for me is to play solo. My partner is not into wargames and a lot of my friends aren’t either. I really like David Thompson’s designs and David Turczi for solo is great. Different colours aren’t THAT big a deal as they impact only the 4 new scenarios.
