I thought it was "Lord Christ, when first Thou cam'st to Men..."
(I hate when they change the words. If you want a gender-neutral hymn, write one! Don't "rest you merry, my good friends")
Gender neutral? So he came only to males did he? Didn't realize.
No, I'm pretty sure it's "earth".
