Delicious Tofu Fried Rice

  • Ingredients:
    1/2 block tofu (I used super firm but firm or extra is ideal)
    1/2 tsp- 1 tsp turmeric
    Salt and pepper to taste
    Old bay seasoning
    1/2 tsp garlic powder/ onion powder
    1/2 carrot diced
    1/4 onion finely chopped
    3 cloves garlic finely chopped
    2 stalk scallio
    1/4 cup sweet peas
    About 2 cups cooked day old rice
    1/2 tbsp dark soy sauce
    Oil

    Another recipe I MUST try tomorrow! I've had tofu in the fridge that's ready to be cooked, and this is the perfect way to make a good meal, I can't wait. I would have never thought to use tofu like egg in a fried rice recipe, this is perfect.

    I usually add a little sesame oil as well to kick up di Asian flavor. Looks good

    Yum. I always have stuff in the fridge for fried rice. It’s a great staple and easy to get veggies in. We call it Chaulafan back home ☺️

    I dried my firm tofu, shredded it in my salad shooter that shreds. Then let it sit to dry more. I’m using it as my rice. It’s better than cauliflower rice , only for me,I’m sure not everyone.

    I will make this and make it keto by not adding real rice but use the tofu as the rice
